See there you go making assumptions; You really don't who I am. A Redneck, African American, Mexican, Caucasion, or Irish. I'll give you a hint. Grew up in Queeens, NY, and lived in Westbury, L.I. for over 16 years. So there goes your Redneck theory out the window....Jerk
We get it,Mr. Lee from Alabama, you were from LI, but left. Must have really hated it, rite? So the reason I see your postings all over Newsday blogs is...?

This happens on every pity party forum. They all keep us amused with good and bad posts. It's a ritualistic kind of thing. You should see some of the things I write when someone actually was drunk, on drugs or speeding like a madman. The jury is still out on this one so i do feel for the guys friends and family at this point.

Brandon was a wonderful kid and did not diserve this, but unfortunatly bad things happen to good people; its unfair! When I found out about his death i was heart broken and could not believe why such a nice, kind, and loving family has to endure such a tragedy. I am extremely sorry and feel for his family and friends.
Rest in Peace Brandon, you will never be forgotten.
you will always be in our hearts.

It is amazing how some of you take this opportunity to trample on the memory of a young man who while returning home from the movies lost his life....
This young man lost his life and people have the nerve to point out all the reasons and potential things he could have done to change the outcome....
You condem people but then YOU are no better.... A bunch ADULTS so I thoight....
Now along with putting your two cents in by insulting the memory of this young man why don't you make better decisions in this forum the way you all insult everyone... what makes you better than anyone you criticize...you should be the ones who know better..
Go comment about the drunk mom driving with her children in the car instead of trampling on this young mans memory!

Some of us might not think so, but it looks like some people think it is. Maybe they can’t afford the postage stamp or card to send the family after buying a computer to post here. It is sad that the family will never read the posts of those who eulogize here since they are preoccupied with arrangements and spending time with their real friends and family (you know, the ones who have better things to do at this sad time). I will suggest to those who are upset by some of the things said here that they not read the posts and express their condolences by taking the time to get a card, write a heartfelt note in it and send it to the family. Better yet, hop in the car and go visit the mourning family.

Everything goes so far with regard to posts and I suppose I could get off topic too. Perhaps I’ll make mention of my bowel movements, urinary output and my ejaculate. That might make for interesting discussion. God bless diversity. The topic of the accident on Glen Cove road has fallen to the wayside.

lee calls it eloquent, and parts are. But I say crude is a better description.

Any word on the cause yet? I read an entry earlier about an accident someone else had years ago and they weren't speeding or driving in an unsafe manner. They lived (obviously, if they posted), and wondered why they did and this teen did not. I still would hold up the fact that - free speech and all - people are innocent until proven guilty.

Also, adults should set examples of how children should behave. The comments made just to provoke - which are extremely raunchy - do not set an example of responsibility OR accounability. I understand you're trying to keep posters "honest", but it's more childish and immature than - well... the teens posting out of hurt emotions.

My heartfelt condolences to the Lustig family. My son will soon be driving on these rds and I am petrified! My son has been driving for over one year with an adult beside him, so he has been geting the required practice and experience. The day will soon come when I will have to allow him to drive alone, hopefully carefully and obeying laws. There has to be atime when young adults are permitted to sit behind the wheel of a vehicle, old or new, and drive themselves. I truly believe this was a horrific ACCIDENT which couldhave happenedto anyone, anywhere, unfortunately it happened to this boy and his family. I don't believe drugs or alcohol were involved, and he was supposedly driving alone. This horrible tragedy could have happened to anyone! Please let this unfortunate family have the peace they deserve and let their son and his memmory rest in peace!
