DING DING DING DING!!

We have a winner for Most Foolish Post of 2012.

A federal government money-grab "just temporary??" The most puzzling aspect of your ridiculous post here is deciding whether you think anyone reading it is gullible enough to actually buy such tosh, or that you are actually stupid enough to believe it yourself.

In one of his writings relating how the federal government ripped off a simple citizen on a mail contract, Mark Twain sums up the level of trust prudent people should place in the federal government generally when it comes to Fedzilla's propensity to grab private wealth pretty well:

"It took six Congresses, containing in their persons the compressed virtues of 70,000,000 of people, and cautiously and carefully giving expression to those virtues in the fear of God and the next election, eleven years to find out some way to cheat a fellow Christian out of about $13 on his honestly executed contract, and out of nearly $300 due him on its enlarged terms. And they succeeded. During the same time they paid out $1,000,000,000 in pensions--a third of it unearned and undeserved. This indicates a splendid all-round competency in theft, for it starts with farthings, and works its industries all the way up to ship-loads."

This competency in theft has only grown since Twin wrote this - and only a fool would deny it.

When a Nation is divided as this one is now, it is the President that is called upon to not only protect the nation, but to heal the division that afflicts the nation. It requires leadership and vision to restore a nation to harmony. It is the hallmark of a great President who can put aside party and idealogy for the sake of the nation, it is a great President who extends his hand to an political adversary to make the nation whole once again and get on with the nations' purpose. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, possessed this abiltiy. The current occupant does not.

It will phase out completely in 2017 – unless Congress, with lawmakers searching everywhere for revenue to reduce federal deficits – decides to extend it. That's the law.

Even though the voices in your head and the ghost of Mark Twain tells you otherwise.

Gee, necrophilia, isn't that the reason you were the only person from Gloversville to wind up in Matteawan State hospital for the criminally insane? What if your parole officer reads this? Oh that's right you're an escaped mental patient. Most people in town would like to beat the balls off of you and hang you in a tree. Me, I'd rather you just be tortured with the stupid life you live as a topix troll. Have a nice day, subhuman.

I see. So you are fully cognizant that this is not in fact a "temporary" tax, in the real world.

That makes you culpable as a purveyor or half-truths and deceptions, and a co-conspirator aiding and abetting those in Washington responsible for victiomizing the American people with this Madoff-like fraud.

Glad we could clear that up.

Portrait of the Retardican Teabagger's co-conspirators:

"Dems Ask for Delay to Obamacare Med Device Tax They Voted for in the First Place"

"Medical Device Tax is just one of 20 Obamacare Taxes."

"In a letter to Majority Leader Harry Reid, 18 Democrat senators and senators-elect have asked for “a delay in the implementation” of the Obamacare medical device tax. Like most of the significant tax increases in Obamacare, the medical device tax is scheduled to take effect on Jan. 1, 2013, conveniently after the 2012 presidential election."

"Each of the 18 Democrat signatories voted for or supported Obamacare in the first place. And now they want a sweetheart exemption from one of its most onerous provisions. Even in Washington DC, that shows a lot of gall."

"The signatories to the letter are as follows:
Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.)
Kay Hagan (D-N.C.)
Al Franken (D-Minn.)
Herb Kohl (D-Wis.)
Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.)
John Kerry (D-Mass.)

Grover Norquist tells you to think that. He is looking out for the wealthy people in this country. He is not looking out for you.

You people lost the election because you cannot think for yourselves. When are you going to realize that?

A neighbor of mine had this in the local paper yesterday.  In many ways he nails it.  The county I live in gave Obama 25% of the vote.
To the editor:
Well, the election is over and we, as a nation, have failed to do what is best for our country. I have a few thoughts concerning the reasons that we failed which I feel compelled to share whether anyone wants to hear them or not - so here goes:
According to the "exit polls" and the analysts, Obama won with fewer votes cast for him in this election than when he was first elected. This is the first time this has ever happened. Also, Romney got fewer votes than did McCain four years ago. Three million fewer Republicans voted in this election than they did four years ago. Some Republicans have come forward since the election and said that they didn't vote for Romney for the same reasons they didn't vote for McCain, and that was because he wasn't conservative enough.
Let me say for starters that you people are idiots. I doubt that there are many people with a more conservative view than mine and I repeat that you are idiots. If you think that any candidate has to be perfect before you will vote for them, may I remind you that there has only ever been one perfect person and that was our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That leaves a lot to be desired for the rest of us in the perfection department. Your quest for perfection has not only allowed a big government socialist to be elected to the office of president, but you have allowed him to be re-elected to do not only four years of damage but eight years of damage to this country. The time to search for perfection is during the primaries and the nomination process.
Now let me make some more people angry. All you Republican party establishment idiots who keep telling us we have to nominate a candidate who will appeal to the independents instead of the most conservative candidate, you are a bunch of fools. Romney won over independents overwhelmingly. He still lost because your base did not show up to vote.
Now let me step on more toes and address the Christian community of which I am a long-standing member. For those who went to the polls and voted for Romney, I give you my warmest thanks and gratitude. You did the right thing.
For those Christians who did not vote because you think that you should not get involved or don't want to get involved, let me remind you that the only thing it takes for bad things to happen is for good people to do nothing. How can any Christian not cast a vote against a candidate and a party who supports abortion which is nothing more than the murder of the unborn? Obama even supports the murder of a baby that happens to survive an attempted abortion that fails and the baby is born alive. That is a fact - check it out.
I am also talking about Christians in the black churches across the country. If you voted for Obama because he is black and so are you, you should have been a Christian first instead of black first. All Christians should be "color blind." We are all brothers and sisters in Christ. God is no respector of persons. He tells us that in his Word. I am also sure that God would not want his children to support murder.
I truly believe that if every Christian in this country had cast a vote against the candidates and the party that supports abortion and other ungodly pursuits, that not only would this election but the entire moral face of this nation would and could have been changed forever.
I don't know whose toes I may have stepped on with this letter nor do I care. Let God be the judge of my heart and my intent. He is the only judge that concerns me.
I hope that this letter would not only be published in The (Lewistown) Sentinel but somehow be picked up and published all over the country. I think everyone should read it.
