<quoted text> I see who ever judged this post must think that the DOW droping 777 points in one day under G.W. Bush is a good thing but if it drops 434.36 points in two day under Obama that is a bad thing.
Lets see in Sept 2008 it droped 504.48 on the 15th
687.81 on the 17th
777.68 on the 29th
678091 on Oct 9th
733.08 on the 15th 514.45 on the 22nd
in 2008 that is a good thing but droping 434.36 in TWO days under Obama is a BAD thing.
I guess the DOW droping those large amounts under a REP. Pres is O.K. but if it drops 321 points or so in one day under a DEM Pres that isn't O.K.
What an a--.
Have a nice night
I'd say your dropping is actually a good thing.

I have absolutely no problem with endless welfare...at least for US citizens.

No, when the endless welfare benefits that the welfare 'state' of Israel gets from the USA taxpayer.....SINCE FAR BEFORE 1953.....ends, then we can and should end welfare payments here.

The repukes keep shoveling tens upon tens of billions of dallars to this welfare state, each and every year....SINCE IT'S INCEPTION.

It galls me that our taxpayer dollars are used to fund "Universal Healthcare' in that welfare state, but it took 75 years to get something that approaches that HERE !

End the welfare there first, then end the welfare HERE !

I'd rather have my progeny pay for debts incurred by HELPING someone else, rather than KILLING someone else !

Demopukes are welfare leeches just like you. Please send your foodstamps back to Obama to finance his next vacation, unless he's checking into a Gloversville motel.

Well I would rather give moeney to Israel than give it to Iran, Chins, N. Korea, and every other country we give aid to that wants to kill us.
We give money to over 180 other countries out of a total of 195 countries in the world, WHY??
It is time yo stop giving money to countries like IRAN , CHINA , RUSSIA , N. KOREA and start to take care of the people in our own country.
Have a nice night

In this case, I'm afraid I am going to have to vigorously disagree, tbird.

exactly WHAT 'aid' is extended to Iran since they ousted the US controlled puppet Shah ?

Do you have any links to evidence to the contrary ?

What "Aid' is provided to N. Korea that doesn't have strings attached ?

And even when N. Korea follows through on the agreements, the US raises the bar on the pretext of "human rights violations'.

Do you have even ONE link as evidence that the USA hasn't reneged on Aid to N. Korea and DIDN'T have strings attached ?

Now, as for "aid' to China....what on earth do they need OUR 'aid' for ? They're FINANCING 3/4 of the US budget, and has for DECADES !

And finally, what "AID' is provided to Russia that ISN'T used to promate an American agenda ?

PLEASE provide some proof.....cuz I certainly can provide PROOF...endless REAMS of proof that the USA provides no-strings attached AID to the welfare 'state' of Israel....to the tune of HUNDREDS of BILLIONS of dollars

I am so glad that Saddam Hussein and his two sons were killed, and I am also glad that the US also killed Bin Laden. Also, I am glad that Bush let the terrorists know that we are not going to put up with terrorism in our country, nor are we going to worry about nuclear arms against us. I guess you would just rather have tyranny reign throughout the world.
Obama's stimulus plan was an outrageous political disaster, and his failure to balance the budget and the fact that he incurred more debt than any other president is abhorrent.

I have given many sites you could look up this info on this thread in the past.
The one I like to use the most is from the U.S. G.A.O.[ I would give you that one now but it is no use seeing it is down for the weekend] and if you re-read my post I never said there wasn't any strings attached, I just said aid.
I stated that the U.S. gives aid [ of many types] to about 180 countries world wide out of a total of 195 countries.
and all you have to do id google it and you can find out yourself.
and I do agree we do give Isreal billions of dollars [ I believe they are included in the 180 countries I talked about]

Stop living vicariously through Notre Dame. You're probably one of those chumps who calls sports teams that you watch "we".
Undefeated...sure, except in 2010 when they got thumped by the tea party and they will again in 2014 as our national malaise continues.
By the way, do you think the Russians, Chinese, and the muslim bro'hood consider Obummer and co. unbeatable? Apparently Russian subs can arrive more quickly to the Jersey Shore than FEMA!

Actually, Tbird...you pointed out 4 countries IN PARTICULAR.....

Iran, N. Korea, China, & Russia.

NONE of these 4 countries receive aid...not now, not in 30 years(or longer).

Aid 'dangled' and not given IS STILL AID NOT GIVEN !

But if you persist....even the GAO should have records on the amount of aid given to IRAN......do post that tomorrow, when the site is no longer 'down for the weekend'...I'll be waiting, I ain't going anywhere.

Further, the welfare terrorist 'state' of Israel gets aid in amounts TEN TIMES all other "180 countries' COMBINED.

Let me guess.....Jewish ?

http://www.foreignassistance.gov/dataview.asp...
Oh look IRAN got aid at leeast up to 2009
and http://www.forbes.com/sites/brianwingfield/20...
Russia and China and Cuba got aid
Russia 68.7 Mill. Cuba 20 mill and China 12.5 mill
I know it may not be much but they still got aid from the U.S.
The GAO website still isn't up or I would have listed that one too

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Sagittarius

It's important to be discriminating about what you say and believe today. That's because communications are rather strange, with people saying or doing odd things and plenty of scope for crossed wires. Be very careful if you're attending to important details because for some reason your brain may switch off at the vital moment, leaving you prone to making mistakes or losing track of what you're doing. Try to double-check anything important tomorrow when your brain is back in gear.
