Maybe if COSTCO paid more, he wouldn't have to peddle bootleg CD's & movies out of the trunk of his car.....At least he was'nt robbing people at gun point.

Hey, I'm all for trying to make a living, but why would you do it at work? That's just asking for trouble.

It's sad to say but I really rather they arrest drug dealers, murderers, and child molesters than worry about someone selling bootleg dvd's and cd's from their car. He probaly only sells them because who can support themselves - let alone a family on a Costco salary? The even sadder reality is that most people can not afford to take a family of four to the movies (tickets, popcorn, and soda will run you at least $80.00) and bootleg maybe the only way they'd ever see a new release movie. So lets ban illegal bootleg movies so the million dollar movie industry can keep on raking in those millions.

rashad is a good guy. The manager is a real as*hole u are supposed to look out for your employees not rat on them. Its not like they were strangers rashad worked for the company for many years and everyone in the building knows him very well. I know that what he did is illegal but all they had to do was make sure he didn't do it at work or even fire him it was unneccesary for the police to get involved and to who ratted on him u know who u are and kharma is a bit*h.

I have known Rashad for many years, so please don't judge him on this incident. He is a good, caring, and loving young man. I would stand by him any day. Lord knows we've all made bad judgements in our lifetime.

How about going out and getting an education so you can earn more than $15 per hour? Not Costco's fault that you can't support your family.

If you plan on having a family you should have a better job than one at costco. That is a place for part timers and retirees.

Education is NOT easy. My four years to get an engineering degree was not GIVEN to me. I did it because I wanted to, applied for the loans that are out there, paid for the loans that earned money for because I got the loans and wrote the checks and sent them to the companies that loaned me the money. Now, I'm debt free because I have some SELF CONTROL.

And guess what....I am a Costco member. I remain a member bacause I realise it wasn't the large company that forced the guy to sell illegal stuff. We have have choices to face day to day. The large corporations do have some responsibility, but nobody, but NOBODY can give us the honor we live by on a day to day basis but ourselves. It takes time...it is not instant.
You dont get something for nothing
You dont get freedom for free
You wont get wise

No matter what your dreams might be

Rashad is a nice guy. The manager of the store should not have done it- I agree. Firing him would have been enough.

I feel bad for Rashad,he shouldn't have done it at work- and I hope everything works out for him.
