Nice try. Let someone else take the bait.
You guys gave yourselves away on another forum - Multiple Personalities, anyone?
So you want people to drive like speed demons?
The other forum has nothing to do with this one and I’m not baiting anyone. What the hell is so wrong with slowing down?

The driver of the Cadillac Escalade, Anthony Lomangino, was driving a company car. The Escalade is owned by Marcum & Kliegman, LLP, a local accounting firm.

May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. May the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, May the Lord hold you in the palm of His hand.

You will be missed.

Just for fun drive out to Southampton Village and actually stop at all the stop signs they've posted around the village. Many of these are useless and placed smack in the middle of a through street like some huge speed bump, and boy do the locals behind you get P-O'd when you make them stop at each and every one. It's fun, give it a try.

Then there's all the super extra slow speed limits better suited to bicycles, but designed to impress on you how " Exclusive " it is to reside and drive in this village. So when the limit says 25, and its Hill Street, the part of the Montauk Highway that must negotiate Southampton Village SLOW DOWN to 15, and watch the people behind you do a slow burn. Hey, nobody says you have to actually DO the speed limit. The 'limit' is how fast you can go, not how slow, so slow everybody down, and show them how exclusive YOU are !

If more people do this the morons who came up with all this nonsense can hear about it from all their obnoxious city dwelling temp residents who hate waiting for anyone. A nice summer passtime, give it a try !

Thanks for the suggestion Ed. I just might take a whole day driving back and forth on the same streets. At least I know I won't be driving fast enough to kill anyone and can't get a speeding ticket. Sounds like a very safe game.
