I would go with the gvt and give up Blue Cross and its continuous denial of coverage any day. Hence OPTION, don't participate if you CHOOSE not to. But on the other hand, with competition (GVT OPTION) VS the insurance cartels, YOUR rates should decrease as well.
DEFEND THIS: In theses states: SD ND SC SD WY MS and ID insurance companies deny U.S. citizens that are victims of domestic violence coverage because it is a "preexisting condition."
Is that acceptable?
If what you state is true, what's stopping the Insurance Commissioners and Legislatures of those states from correcting the situation? The states are the ones who control the situation.

So you agree that the legislatures are corrupt? And that the insurance companies are not totally to blame?

Stella - In CT, insurance companies are required to pay for Invetro, but not all states mandate that. You are blaming the bad insurance companies, but you cite six "states".

I other words, the liberal politicians in my state say insurance companies "MUST" pay for non life threataning conditions, hence - now you know why Democrats do not favor buying insurance outside of your own state.(do you comprehend this?)

What a mess.

It's like gasoline additives. The liberals in my state want Ethanol, but the liberals in California want CARB standards. End result - we all pay more.

The liberals already mandate things. Whatever they can get away with. It always costs more.

Cartels?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cartel

The states (liberals/communists) in control dictate what insurance must offer.

After you get free health care which is not free, we should ask for free college for our kids, which I would do first.

Then everyone should have a free home - at leat two acres.

Then let's give everyone a car.

Buf dear, you are exempt from working for it. FREE!

Then let's provide these benefits to all of the countries in the world. We will takes the tax from you.

Then you can live in the hut Obama's brother lives in.

You will feel good. Very logical Stella.

We have the best system. If you don't like it, move.

France is a great place to be poor.

As a Connecticut resident, you know that if the Health Insurance companies were charging premiums that were bloated or inappropriate, then the Attorney General ( who has never faced a camera he didn't like, or passed up a lawsuit no matter the validity) would be all over them like a cheap suit. Since Blumenthal hasn't uttered a peep, this would make me think that the premiums are justified and that perhaps the health care mandates generated by the clowns in the state capitol are one of the main reasons for the increasing costs of healthcare.

WOW! PelosiCare Will Create 111 New "Federal Bureaucracies".....

In other words, it's the left's dream bill.....

House Republicans claimed Monday that the health care reform bill pushed by Speaker Nancy Pelosi would create a whopping 111 new "federal bureaucracies."

Among some off the new agencies, the list cites a Health Insurance Exchange; the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation; the Public Health Investment Fund; the Public Health Workforce Corps; an Assistant Secretary for Health Information; the Food and Drug Administration Office of Women's Health; grant programs for alternative medical liability laws, infant mortality programs and other issues; and about 100 other government-sponsored creations.

"That ought to tell you all that we need to know, that we're going to have 1,990 pages of legislation," House Minority Leader John Boehner said in an interview Sunday.

"The word 'shall' exists in this bill 3,345 times."

Gosh, how come no one else reports this?

Mercury's retro phase in Capricorn will raise questions in your mind about a friend or loved one during the next two weeks. You might wonder what they're playing at and have to ask them to be straight with you, or you could work hard at overcoming the current problems between you so you're able to enter a much more positive phase in your relationship.
