This is heartbeaking. What I don't understand is why it took so many days for someoe to get him medical attention. When a student is ill on a school trip, extra precaution should be taken. The staff should've sent for his mom right away, or taken him to the hospital sooner, ordering as many tests as possible till somthing was found to be the cause. He should not have been released without his mother being present.
Let's hope this will change school trip procedures and God bless this family.
