I can see him teaching math. Here is a question on a math quiz:
I am arresting for driving while intoxicated and my blood level is .23. The legal limit is .8 Is it closer to:
A) 2 times the legal limit
B) 3 times the legal limit
C) My retirement

You guys didn't read the article thoroughly, they actually rewarded him by giving him his old job back. Another position at taxpayer expense was added for him.

Amazing. He is back in a position that was eliminated years ago. Goes to show you that you can do anything and still have a job with the school districts. Hope all you North Babylon are saving your pennies to pay for next years increased budget for this new position.

I left NB in 1999 and never looked back. I found great schools in the southest and low taxes (less than$3k per year. Not only that but no cold. The downside is I have to learn redneck speak although if I stayed on LI I would need to learn the ilegal language

Another a hole in charge of education. No wonder the kids are screwy. Take your kids out of school and home school. Let the public schools fall into oblivion where they belong. Teachers molesting their students blah, blah, blah. We'll all save a lot of tax money. We are paying for fabulous educations that ain't happening people.

Everyone needs to calm down and remember the Bible quote about "casting the first stone..."
This individual, unknown personally to most of us, and heretofore a role model and authority figure, has already been humiliated and embarassed, by at best a very poor error in judgement he has made, or perhaps suffers from an all too common illness, alcohol abuse, which is prevalent in all segments of society. Perhaps some of you have even had a family member or friend with such affliction.
No, he doesn't deserve praise,or medals for driving drunk, and yes he should have NOT been driving, but for years he's probably worked hard obtaining an education, and serving the famililies of the community in progressively responsible positions within the school.
He has been disgraced by this event, suffered financial loss, and reduced to a job, that yes, was recreated for him, but perhaps should not have been eliminated in the first place.
We don't know him, and fortunately did not encounter him while driving on the road, but we must, or should be willing to admit that he could have been anyone of us or a relative, neighbor or friend. And, it it were, how would we wish to have this matter treated, and what does justice and fairness dictate?
Let's take a deep breath and let's stop attacking him.

Ok, how many times has someone caught driving with a BAC like that been innocent of driving drunk? And they're going to send such a great message to the students by letting this guy be math director? Ok, something's seriously wrong with this picture...seriously. Kids, don't drink in drive...you might kill someone or end up being a math director.
That is so

Did anyone actually see the main point that N. Bab let him STAY EMPLOYED as an administrator? Probably the same salary also. The resignation is moot at that point b/c it was obviously a backroom deal. What an embarrassment for N. Bab.
