Horrible is the first word that comes to mind. Spent 8 years at the studio (competition team) Sure they win BUT its because they do the same dances and if not the same dances, the same foot work year after year. With the amount of wins you think you are being taught the best. NOT. After leaving DSDD i went to a new studio that has shown me that the little i was taught i was taught incorrectly and muscle memory is hard to retrain. DSDDs techinque training is almost non existent. i learned more in 2 years at my new studio than i did 8 years at DSDD. If you dont mind paying for the same dances every year for an easy win then i would recommend them. If you want to REALLY learn how to be the best dancer possible dont waste your time or money

What studio do you go to now? because I was told that DSDD is a very very good dance studio, but if you feel there is better I would like to know, so that I don't make the same mistake.

It is true that they win all the time but where is the creativity? I have many videos of this group dancing and the dances are all the same just differently mixed on stage. It is a shame to limit these talented dancers(and the are talented) to a few steps and turns practiced to perfection and thrown out on stage with no imagination.

listen i really dont appriciate you comming to this website and spreading stupid rumors about the studio. and for all his dancers keep up the good work! and little miss who spent 8 years at DSDD if you dont have something nice to say keep your mouth shut. cause non of it is true. and if he uses the same type of style over and over again whats it to you? he still has amazing dances. and our imagination is in the room dancing with our classmates where it should be. we like to have fun while we dance and sometimes that involves bringing back memories of old dances. which by the way we arent the only studio which does so. DSDD is amazing and i fully would recomend it to you. dont listen to this person cause she obviously didnt care much for the studio and didnt try hard enough to learn and get more talent. have a good day <3

I have danced here for 10 years. 5 of them being in company. We have amazing tap competition numbers that blow other schools away. Whenever we go to competition the girls get super close and have a blast. You will feel welcomed into all of the studios by the teachers. On the comp team about 1/4 of the kids came from other teams and feel welcomed. If you look at other studios the students think they're amazing but in about 10 years when they go to auditions they will think they will get the part and get their hopes up. If you have been through the amazing training I've been through you will know how much awards this school should win. Even better, the owner owns Legacy Dance Competition, so he knows how much work the other studios have and doubles it because he is amazing.

Hmmm.....sour grapes all the way from Delaware. First off....it's illegal for you to have their routines on video because choreography is copyrighted. Also, why would you want them if they're so horrible? Are you copying them or just trying to figure out how to beat them? Hard to believe routines with no imagination would win at competition. BTW, his dancers are amazing because they are trained properly with great technique. This is why his graduates go on to have successful careers in the dance world. Enough said.
