Manslaughter charges against homeowner who shot armed burglar despite video

Justice in America for those who are defending their family and their home just went sideways in New York and has become more of an urban jungle.

He can't be found innocent, mjjjizzem.

We've been through this already.

Maybe you want to bet some of those millions of dollars you told us you have paid in taxes?

You may think justice boils down to guilty or not guilty, but this man appears to be innocent from the article I read. I hope I get on his jury.

Defending one's family from scum should be rewarded, not penalized.

The politicians who kowtow to liberal enablers of criminals need to stop blaming law-abiding citizens for the cesspit NY has devolved into and start blaming generational welfare and tenured teacher unions.

Your reading isn't up to snuff.

Starting with the shooter leaving the house and killing the man down the street.

Like your statement that you have paid millions of dollars in taxes, you have problems separating truth from reality.

So shooting him in the neighbor's back yard is "down the street", huh? I guess the guy shouldn't have fired a gun into the guy's house. ANOTHER armed thug cured of his acute lead deficiency problem. Good job!!!

Pellet gun.

Let's see if the arrest convictions prohibited the killer to touch a gun.

PS: He can't chase someone down the street and decide to kill someone he thinks is attempted burglar. It isn't Georgia where you can kill an old man in a bath robe who rings your door bell late at night.

The DA's office said he was shot in the neighbor's backyard: http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2014/03/06/l-i-ma...

The pellet gun was recovered from the remaining group of four thugs who had been hiding out in the backyard shed, Dumbass.(same link)

(And pellet guns don't give off a flash and recoil as seen in the surveillance video, do they???)

cross up.
“We presented them with the videos that show the gentlemen clearly inside the house shooting the gun, with the light and muzzle going off inches from my brother’s face,” Abdel-Gawad said.“He was within inches of killing my brother.”

Police said as four accomplices waited in a backyard shed, another crept onto the porch holding a gun. The family said as the would-be robber tried to gain entrance, he suddenly fired the weapon toward the sliding glass door and a flash went off.

The Abdel-Gawad family said they were cowering inside. The three sons banded together – two picked up wooden sticks, and the third, Youssef, grabbed a shotgun.

The brothers chased the alleged burglars from the porch, and Youssef fired, striking a 33-year-old man from Roosevelt in the back. That man, Jazzmen Bryant, later died of his wounds.

The District Attorney’s office said the man who died was shot in a neighbor’s backyard as he ran away. A pellet gun was recovered from the group of alleged burglars.

“The DA’s office indicated they didn’t think it was necessarily clear that a shot was fired, but you can actually see a flash and see the gun pull back after he pulls the trigger,” defense attorney Anthony Rutkowski said last week.“So we’re pretty confident that when we have a chance to present our side to the story, that he will be acquitted.”

You don't know where the neighbor is, and you do know he died in his CAR which was down the street.

And whether it was up the street, down the street or around the corner: we do know it wasn't in the house and it wasn't in Georgia.
