I just read through all 112 post here. Cutting through the trash talk and rumors. More facts are needed

1. How much is the rent and for how much space?
2. When did LaRosa if at all end her partnership with SSLC was this around the same time we were deciding what schools to close?
3. How are we giving contracts out (jamie winkler) did she come in with the best offer? What were the other offers?
4. What is still in the schools what is going to be used chairs desk kitchen lunch tables?
5. Playground use?
6. What is market value.(the only fact I know to be true on any of these 112 post is $10 is not market value)

I am sure there is a lot more to answer

Jessica I am sure you are a nice person but I would like to here some facts by others please hold you comments.

You are an idiot. Do you think you are making an actual argument here? Come on. YOU and your idiot friends are the ones saying that even though they are not technically partners that is really only on paper (which is FALSE). You make no sense.
They are no longer partners on paper. But that FACT wont stop you from spewing your nonsense. Just keep on going. You make no sense.
You are an angry, angry woman who obviously has some kind of inner demons to deal with. Calling people idiots because they disagree with you? Is that the lesson you want to teach your kids? That if someone disagrees with you you call them names, stamp your feet and hold your breath? Hopefully helene is teaching them better lessons than that.

She is not a partner anymore. THAT IS A FACT. Yes it was just made official not too long ago, but she has not been a part of the west islip location in at least 5 years. She was a partner simply on paper for the last five years. She has nothing to do with West Islip. Again, Helene doesnt deserve this. Bash Annmarie all you want - she put herself out in public by holding public office, but to drag Helene through the mud is ridiculous. Annmarie has NOTHING to gain from Helene moving into Westbrook and that is a FACT.
The above was your post ding bat, not mine. Simply on paper...partner for the last five years..you're so dopey...made official not too long ago...Jessica, it looks like the ink is still wet...like your entire argument is!

@ Vocal Majority ..... you like to come on here with your cliche terms and BS but you have no information from any sort of reliable source. You have no information about anything except who is friends with who and speculation....
Annmarie happens to hold a public office in this town as well as other positions. She is active in a lot of charity work and because of this she knows A LOT of people. ANYONE can point to a connection between her and any business in this town. Just because I am defending a business woman who had a partnership with her you think I am her best friend. Well, I have known her for 8 years but have never once had coffee with her and wouldnt say we are even friends. I see her around, will always talk to her, will always be polite and sometimes not polite when she pisses me off. I dont care if you bash her because I have had to bash her myself sometimes. I also know she can take it because she is used to it due to her line of work.
The bottom line is that the BEST thing that can go into Westbrook is a preschool. Now that Helene is over there one can only hope that there will be another daycare option for the preschool set!
Again, tell me ONE WAY Annmarie stands to benefit from this?? She doesnt!!!! It is ridiculous. If she was making millions off the deal, YES, I would cry foul, but she isnt!!!!
The best thing that could go into westbrook would be another elementary school because people actually moved into town rather than running away in droves largely because of this declining school district and blind apologists for them like yourself.

Not gonna hold my comments. Why dont you call a realtor and discuss it with them? Also why does no one care that Bridges is paying what amounts to a little more than $10 a square foot. Why is the only issue about what Helene is paying? Jamie Winkler was decided on as realtor LAST YEAR. Why complain now? The woman handles a lot of properties in this town and no one has any complaints, why are you complaining about this? Just because she happens to be friendly with Annmarie? How ridiculous.

Ok lets go back and see who started with the name calling. I have been called way worse than an idiot because I disagree with them. Sorry I stooped to their level but one can only put up with idiocy for so long before you have to call someone out on it.

And by the way, I am noot calling them an idiot because they disagree with me, I am calling them an idiot because of the way they treat people.

You should really all come to the next board meeting where all of this will be discussed and you will have the exact square footage and price being paid. But I am sure I will be sitting there in an empty auditorium with the usual 20 people who care enough to show up. The rest of you will just armchair quarterback from behind your fake names. Have fun!

Not an authority on Annmarie Larosa by any means. Just tell me what you think she stands to gain from this? Not one person has an answer!!!!! So what is the big scheme here? You have NO argument.

Actually the best thing would have been for Westbrook to remain open and only one elementary school to close but that didnt happen. Now that it is closed lets not let it remain vacant and become a haven for derelicts. I am sure the neighbors would agree. You are paying for heat, electricity and custodial staff for an EMPTY building. They were thinking it would take a long time to find rentals and lucky for us we found 4 tenants in a short period of time, one of which will begin paying us rent in April. Do you care how much the boxing school and dance school are paying us? Or do you only want to string up Helene? Go to a board meeting you will find out exactly how much money is being paid for how many square feet.

I'll answer that: (this is a fact) at the time the schools were closing she had a 50% in west islip SSLC and a 50 % in east islip. at that time she took 100% of EI and gave her partner 100% of WI SSLC. (now Wink Wink we just removed the conflict of intrest)i'll get my friend Jamie to real estate the school to you (us wink wink)well below market value. so now our rent im sorry your rent will be a 3rd of what it is now and it will be move in ready for us i meen you. this cuts our overhead to nothing.

That's more like it.$10.00 a square foot, all utilities and maintenance included, but looking around at all the other commercial real estate in WI, this is the down right cheapest and best deal there is. We are giving away the barn, the farm, the livestock, the house, the seeds, the fertilizer and the tractor all for the rock bottom price of $10.00 a sq ft. "such a deal".
What happens with the rest of the 67,000 sq ft during the day?
If the pre-k or even Bridges uses 15,000 sq ft. can the rest be rented out to another business? Would parents want their children in the school while perfect strangers are roaming the halls sharing the bathrooms and common hallways?
Orrrrr...will these schools be the sole users of the entire space for the day without ever needing to worry about the rest of the space being "shared".

Jessica in all the conversations you had with Helene Tsouprakas did tell you she actually signed the lease? Because we were asking her questions at the preschool and she told us she hasn't signed the lease yet. I'll be upset if she only told us that but really signed it already.

The lease has not been signed yet because the board has yet to vote on it. It can only be signed after the board votes on it. The only lease voted on at december meeting was the bridges lease. so, she is telling you the truth....but if your listening to the idiots here and think helene would lie to you, her parents and customers, then you do not know her at all, and you should probably not be trusting her with your children if you do not trust her word. im sure she would be hurt and upset that one of her parents would post such a thing.

OMG Helene does NOT deserve to have any of this on here. She has ran a successful business serving WI for years.

Jessica shame on you for dragging her into this forum. She is not Annemarie who is on a public board to serve.

I know Helene is a nice person but I really hope she calls Jessica and tells her to STFU!!

One thing that I would be very concerned about is the comment about the schools sharing common halls and bathrooms. If another business is able to lease a part of the 67,0000 sq ft space, that means that a business can be there at the same time the children are? Or is it going to be just the two schools during the daytime hours?

If Bridges has already signed the lease wouldnt you think that concern has already been addressed by them and the parents paying their tuition? Once again GO TO A BOARD MEETING AND ASK

I wasnt the one who first mentioned her name. Actually have you not read any of this? I am defending her. You have got to be kidding me.

As for shared hallways and space.....I have not one concern about the safety of my son. I know they will take good care of him. Security is tight right now where he is, it will be fine....

When I first spoke to her she had not signed. But it was announced at the Council of PTAs and the reps made announcements at the various pta meetings.
