She was such an amazing person unlike any other on this earth. I think I’m going to cry.
There is no crying while speeding!

So, NOW it's up to YOU to make sure that all of her remaining friends realize that to have the opportunity to drive is a earned privilege, and there are rules of the road and most of all to have courtesy to OTHER drivers. Instead of wasting you time trying to convince some posters what a wonderful person this poor girl was.(Which I'm sure she was) Go out and speak up to other teens who feel they know it all and convince them what can happen when one drives without a care.

I lost a loved one, so I know. So go and make a difference in some lives. This way we won't have to read yet another story about some inexperienced driver "popping" a turn and taking out yet another life. And I pray to God that some idiot teen doesn't take out any of my family with them.

my sympathy to her family and friends, lets not be so insensitive at a time like this. No matter what a young life was lost and it could happen to anyone that we love.

What is wrong with some of you people, honestly? Do you purposely comment on a tradgedy with negativity because you have nothing better to do with your day. The fact remains a mother and father are without their daughter and a family has been torn apart. Some of you are really sick.

i know one of the people who was on the road that night. its not their fault. they were behind her, not following her and all of a sudden her car sped away. that when this happened. they said the car just disappeared. i saw the accident seen and the skid marks and impact indicate an EXTREME high rate of speed. its terrible that the girl lost her life but there is noone else to blame. the only good thing is that only one person took the hit so the rest could survive

And they saw a car pull away, and then came up on it wrapped around a tree, and didn't even stop? Nice. With that kind of concern for fellow human beings, they'd fit right in with most of those on this board. Regardless, whoever they are, they'd be better off stepping up and giving their side of it rather than being found by police. YOU can now be found, therefore so can they. Think about it. Tell THEM to think about it. There's a fine line between an accident and a crime, and one's actions following an accident can determine which side they end up on.

hi. every single one of them stopped. who do you think called 911? they stopped and stayed with them until help arrived. now they are being blamed for the accident? they did everything they could to help. none of the doors would open so they had nothing to do but talk with the people inside and wait for emergency crews.

the people behind her stopped. i know them. they are horrified at what they saw and tried all they could to help jennifer out of the car before help came. they were the ones that called 911. nobody else was around...the people who lived on the street didn't come out until 10 minutes after the accident occurred. they WERE NOT CHASING HER. all of you who are accusing these people for the loss of jennifer's life are making me sick. learn the facts, i know it's a horrible thing to lose someone at such a young age and to such a tragic accident, but stop pointing fingers and take a step back and look at what actually happened.

itd be nice if people could stop blaming the people behind her. they did nothing wrong yet they have to deal with being blamed for her death.

people who knew her will blame anyone but her. but the hard reality is she shouldnt have sped up.

I think you knew I was being sarcastic.
The mystery car with that was tailing her is just that, a mystery. It’s a rumor posted by one of her defenders.
If you’re familiar with Sweet Hollow/Mount Misery roads, you’ll know that they’re very popular with teens for speeding and hanging out. It’s a late night kind of thing for them. To hear that something like this happened after midnight is no surprise at all. It’s just rare that Newsday covers it when someone does crash in the area.

Well thank a higher power that no body else outside of the car was hurt. People die everyday so it is just Darwinism at work. If you speed you will have a shorted amount of time to react.. that is plain and simple.
