Yet another budding "independent entrepreneur" whose career has been tragically cut short - but I'm sure he'll do well in his new career making license plates for the State of New York.

I think Mr. Clifford needs to make an appointment with his therapist - His need for attention must be channeled in a different fashion. He's disrupting the community with his antics. As a retired police officer he should know better. The example he is setting is criminal. I think he should be arrested and no longer be entitled to ride the LIRR. He's a menace to society.

Fry this Scumbaag... I lost an entire system (and a broken door window for their access) an the Ronkonkoma LIRR lot.
Its good to see the police "doing their job".. Maybe Islip Town "rent a cops" should put down parking ticket book and catch those holes breaking into our cars while we're out earning a living.

The Newsday says he stole steroes from "commuters parked in the lot."

Now, I moved from LI about five years ago, but back then, we just left our cars in the lot. Have fares gotten so high that people won't actually board the trains???

John,

You continue to write as if you were still in 5th grade. Get another profession.

"When he ordered Fraser out of the hiding spot, Fraser ran to his own car -- with Cascino in pursuit. When Cascino opened the driver's door in an attempt to detain Fraser, police said Fraser drove off, dragging the officer "several feet."

Kahilief must be Irish or Italian, it is hard to tell as his race was not know at the time of his arrest, guess it is to protect him until he is proven guilty?

You can look him up using that link.

I was in the same situation as "Phanker". I'm one of the people victim to the stupidity of that one human yesterday.

The police did great work. I am so happy that they caught him and recovered my stuff (can only speak for my stuff).

What I was not happy about...

Cars were impounded for safe keeping (no choice) for those who could not come home from work. Victims are responsible for the towing and impound fees.
