How about affordable housing for the middle class? Perhaps a house on a half an acre so you do not hear your neighbor flush his toilet. A few bedrooms, bathrooms and garage. All for around $500K. With taxes under $8K a year? Oh wait, this is Lond Island we are talking about.

If I want that I guess I have to move to Philadelphia, where I can work in the city of Philly and have a 30 minute train ride to work. Here is too wishful thinking!
