This guy is still allowed to practice?? That is insane. There should be protest in front of his office....imagine the damage done to these people.. That virus is nothing to take lightly..many people die each year becaus of it.

I am surprised he was cleared. He likely tested positive for HCV himself, and he or a member of his staff likely were stealing meds.

Now that he's been ID'd he should also be arrested, stripped of his medical license, and made to pay all the medical bills of the people he infected. I can't believe any competent doctor would want to be affiliated with him. Investigate the clinic he works at as well.

Below is the excerpt from the Office of Professional Medical Conduct pertaining to the action it took against "Doctor" Finkelstein. Or should it be "Doctor Frankenstein?"

My question is who will now investigate the Office of Professional Conduct?

Why was he reusing the needles and syringes? To save a couple of bucks? Certainly as a "medical professional" he knew that was a big time no-no. I can hear the theme from "Jaws" as the patients' attorneys start circling his clinic. The AMA must have one hell of a union if all Harvey got was a "Don't do it again" from the State and County.

I dont understand why his name wasn't relaeased immediately after The NYS Dept. Of Health found him guilty of these allegations. I mean if you search hard enough at, http://www.health.state.ny.us/nysdoh/opmc/mai... , you can waddle through the intended non user frinedly public area and find it.

1) Why does NYS Dept. Of Health make it easier for the public to identify and stay away from quacks?

2) Why is this Dr. havey Finklestein's license not suspended for years or revoked?

My speculation is that physician's (NYS Dept. of Health) dont like to take away the licneses of other physicians...
