Not sure if your article conclusion statement, necessarily supports the title of this article, road rage, sounds like an accident to me.

detectives revealed that Maduro was unaware that he struck Diaz with the tractor-trailer.

I drive a tractor trailer all over LI and NYC all day and these people in cars dont have any respect for the size, weight or maneuverability of these trucks. The only reason why you dont see at least 10 deaths a day is because all of us who drive these vehicles practice the ability of restraint when it comes to road rage.
Now this guy who got hurt took it upon himself to stop traffic completely at an on ramp to complain that he was being tailgated. He got everything he deserves. If it was me driving behind him I don't think he would have been walking back to his vehicle under his own power. I hope he has learned a lesson and will have more respect for the trailer drivers of LI and NYC in the future. Let this be a lesson to you all....
