Has anyone heard what grocery store is coming to Melissa?

Several grocery stores had tried to come to Melissa. If you do not buy a property owned by Mayor David E Dorman or his friends then you do not have a chance of selling your property to any grocery chain. Call to find out the facts. I have them well documented. Ever want to sell your property in Melissa, not until one of the "investors" make their dollar fist. And guess who that is.

Dave is a control freak. Until he gets some therapy- Melissa residents are increasingly unlikely to be spared the drive to McKinney or Anna.

Therapy? HA! Maybe we should call Dr. Phil instead of Oprah.

We don't want a Brookshires....they are a grocery store for areas whose houses are $150,000 and below. If we did want a Brookshires, we'd move to Anna......we ain't movin!

Is that why David Dorman did not allow Brookshires to comes to Melissa. Dorman did not allow the Sonic to be on Hwy 5 as requested. More business has been turned away in the last few years than we could ever recover. If Dorman can't make a buck on the land deal, he won't allow a business. Bad business ethics in the City of Melissa. The total of jobs destroyed by Mayor David E Dorman is way to high.

You think??? Maybe we don't have a Brookshires because he listens to those of us who volunteer and are participants in the different committees in the city. The only people who aren't happy are those who volunteer nothing...not time, not input...nothing. You gripe and moan. The biggest whiners are those who aren't registered to vote......
Squeaky and lazy doesn't get the grease in this town......but there are plenty of other towns that will accomodate you.....Anna, Princeton etc.

Everyone I know will vote. I always have volunteered and will continue. I have not heard any moaning except from David Dorman, Matthew Reibenstein and JJ Chapa.
Volunteer in my book does not mean profiting from what is going on, as it does yours boy.

We're working on moving Dorman down to Seagoville... he can run for Mayor in B Block and "make store" at the commissary.

For all you idiots -this thread started in May 07. Melissa STILL doesn't have a grocery store- or plans to put one in. Do you HONESTLY believe Market Street is coming to a town of 3,214??
Audit Needed

Until the grocery decides to pay what the fool what he wants, the grocery will not be here. They already tried and Dorkman turned the grocery store down. Not on that property. no owners will be able to sell property if Mayor David Dorman does not want it. He has his boy, Helmberger being paid to lie and say that your property does not qualify for the business. Wake up aqnd stand up. Helmberger is doing the dirty deeds for the mayor. Why do you think he is still there? Ask the Mayor. His contract was up long ago. But when you do favors for the evil side, you get to stay. Lets see how many dips Helmberger gets for the same job. And then the city makes sure to hold all parties at his business party barn. What gives? Can someone say "dirty money"? Maybe SOME CHECKS AND AUDITS should be considered here. Call in an unbiased audit. One that knows where to look. Dorman does not keep a vendor on unless it works for his own good and yes that does mean the city attorney too. Lots of ethics violations in my book.

How many paper shredders do you think they have operating at the City of Melissa? Was that Dorman we saw this week carrying stuff out? If not, we will soon.

Before you V-O-T-E Sat 9th.

For the latest ABC TV Story on Melissa News
Important for tax payers & business owners to see this exciting story!
Keep in mind that the news has many attorneys making sure that what they publish is the truth. Especially with Dave Dorman sending his stupid threat letters as he posted.
And Mayor Dorman doing mail outs bashing the TV investigator is a little sorry.
That news caster has been around longer than most in Melissa have been alive. So I am sure he has credibility! And guts!! Keep it up- peoples lives are at stake.
