Homeless individuals need to be someplace where they can access services. It seems to me that somewhere in the middle of the county, where they have aceess to bus, stores, and basic needs would be a much better choice.

To place them at the most northern county line reminds me of what schools have done for years with children with disabilities... they would be placed in a trailer at the far corner of the school property or in the basement, next to the boiler room. It is one moer way to treat those who are having problems as the "crazy relative" who you keep in the attic.

Get real, to get anywhere that has multiple resources is at least 30 miles or 30 minutes away from Mims. Has anyone noticed that the price of gas has gone up lately and what it would cost these people on limited budgets to get anywhere?

So is it, or should it be, the governments responsibility to house these homeless? How about the catholic church or any other church for that matter doing this job? After all, they are tax exempt. Either they provide for their community or lose their tax exempt status. It's that easy.

How about everyone go camping for two weeks. No tents, no food, no sleeping bags. Heck! Nowhere to go for that matter. Make a game to run and hide from the police. Then all report back to me on what you know about being homeless.

Don't forget to steal anything not nailed down and vandalize property you are to lazy to earn yourself. Then say to yourself, "I made my bed, guess I have to sleep in it now".

I am sure since the no trespassing signs have been taken down at Long Branch Park. There will be homeless camps popping up throughout those woods.

Not on my watch, so don't even try it! I worked hard with Mayor Jacobs to open this property for Bithlo so I am confident you and your gang of misfits will do anything to rob Bithlo of what the solid citizens want and deserve. Why don't you go haunt a house or something you are good at?
