I am a mother and I cannot even try to imagine what these mothers have endured these past days. Does anyone know how the young man who was with them is doing? I can't imagine what he must be feeling right now either. My prayers with all invovled.
The boy from what I understand has been sent to his grandparents house, I think they live in Miami. Hes been pretty traumatized by the events. One of the girls was his girlfriend. Two funerals were last night, and one is today.

<quoted text> That's pretty heartless to say the teenagers chose to go there. They did not choose to go there to die. Remember these are teenagers, were you ever one? You have never gone where there is a no trespassing sign? The engineer will have to live with this.

The comments for the Rosedale Mall story were working shortly after the story was posted. They later removed it from Topix. There were some definite racial overtones to some of the posts, if you get what I mean.
gee, never would have guessed that.
the racist comments were made because for the most part, they are true. People wake up, pull your head out of the sand and confront what is real..it is all about race and that is FACT...however, we can't say that can we for then we are all labeled racists......how effen sad........

i remember we used to walk down the tracks all the time and we were always so worried when we had to go over the part that was above a street...scary to say the least but we did it, looking back now...stupid but then .. fun and scary..so sad for the families, a stupid mistake and 3 lives lost, the boy who had to see it .. his memories scarred forever and the poor conductor also.

I've been holding this in for years but Jennifer asked me to hang out that night but i said no because i wanted to meet an old friend. Had i said yes, she might be alive still. No clue why it still haunts me.
