The newspaper and TV stations love to hear of crisis in the elderly community, and this would be a perfect way to get attention to our plight. Taking advantage of the elderly can be constituted elder abuse.

The meetings for both LV 1 and LV 2 went very well. They are getting their information prepared for the negotiations with Cal Am.

If you know of a house that is occupied by people not of age, families, post their address on this forum. This forum will be monitored by the LV1 and LV2 HOA's. They will use this for the negotiations.

What we need to do is stand firm TOGETHER, not LV1 and LV2.
We are a UNITED community, this LV1 and LV2 seems to divide us.
In order to get anything accomplished, we MUST BE UNITED and NOT to nit pick on points that won't get us anywhere.

We need to concentrate on their rent increases. We need to get something in return.........LETS ALL STATE WE WANT GATES FOR ALL THREE DRIVEWAYS, WE WANT THE POOL AREA SECURE, NO ONE THAT DOESN'T LIVE HE CAN USE THE FACILITIES. This includes the pool, computer room, billiards. No more of the GUEST PASS that we have been told is being used. A guest canuse the facilities. No this was not explained to us when we bought her. We were told 55 and older, no kids and no renters. Let's make Cal Am keep their promise when we signed up to live here.

Stand united and they (Cal Am) won't be able to divide us.

Be pro active. Get involved. Become the community we all pay for and deserve. Don't sit idle and ignore the issues. If you know of something that is wrong, put it on the INCIDENT sheet, keep copies go to the HOA's and the office.

We can fix this community. Don't keep being non active, be proactive and we will accomplish our goals.

Keep Lamplighter the best place to live in Brevard.

We pay for it, we deserve it. Let's just do it.

Punjab, you are so right! Jesse especially cared and tried to make things go as they should. That's why they got rid of him. "Management" has been told of the renter at 120 Lamplighter, but does not want to take action. Another resident even emailed Cory at the CalAm home office, but got no response except that the email was deleted without being read. We had to have a background and credit check BEFORE we were approved to move in, which we didn't mind, but why are unknown people allowed to move in and stay even after management is made aware? It is scary that renters and squatters are living amongst us when this was supposed to be a safe community.

I live on Lamplighter (the 2nd) entrance
Time to check out across the Canal. 498 Waterbrook Street has kids living there. Up the block you have A horrible house (i think #489) this is what i look at from the back of my house. I am going to put my rent soon in a Escrow Account. Per my Lawyer, until Cal Am and tbe Jerk Off Manager gets off his Fat Ass.
I pray we get a new Manager soon.
Wait, of course we will.
This place is turning into a White Trash Community.
Stick together to get rid of a Horrible Manager!

The person who answered Islands in the Sun advised me that Stacey is NO LONGER EMPLOYED AT CAL AM!

That real young guy is still renting, squatting or whatever at 120 Lamplighter. It's the black and white home where the 3 broken down cars sat in the driveway for years. The owner finally removed them and started renting out the place. The guy before this one was a violent drunk that beat up his girlfriend until she called the cops on him and moved out. He finally left, too. But not because management made him. Now this guy lives there and the office said that they can't do anything about it. All the while he gets to use the pool and all the other facilities WE pay for! So we really don't know who lives amongst us here.
