Buyer beware. This business has the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. Do not waste time or money with this company.

Don't buy anything from Dustys Appliances and repair in Melbourne because he buys junk machines from the junk yard and cleans anaints them and then tells you they're refurbished when they are just junk.
Buyer beware and check out BBB where Dusty has a F- rating.

Dusty's Appliance Repair is the biggest waste of money & time I have spent the last 3 months. I bought a high efficiency washer from them the middle of January and the person who deliverd it, didn't run a whole cycle to make sure washer worked. When I tried doing an actual load of laundry, found the wather was broken. Took them 3 weeks to get me a loaner washer and pick the broken one up. NOW it has been another 2 months and I am TRYING to get my original washer back, and have been told each of the last 3 days that it would be deliverd the NEXT day. I stopped by the "store" on my lunch break today, owner not there and the people who are there, don't know where my washer is.

not but one of you are from florida but you all act like you have done so much business here lol

but my self has done a lot of business with dusty's appliance's and he and his workers have always been so nice and helpful to me and my family i called to have my dryer fixed and wanted him to come out and he told me what it was to save me money instead of making $50 off me so that is not a rip off he is a good guy but hey you can't please everyone i have been going to dusty's for 7 yrs and as my family and if something did happen he was always there and his wife they have been in business for a long time so i guess if people would take the time to write a good review he would have a lot more then 4

and p.s wally you wrote 2 reviews like no one would notice if you changed the city lol nice

yes sharron i my self have been to dustys a lot and everytime the prices have been fair and i have never had a problem dusty you are a good guy and your wife is just a sweet heart she has always helped me or answered any questions i have called for you have been in business for over 6 yrs keep doing what your doing because it's working

i bought a washer and a stove a couple months back and i have to say i am very happy when i got home and went to plug my stove in it was the wrong plug i called dusty and he came out here and changed it for me that was the 1 and only problem i have had and he made it right the nicest guy in melbourne thanks dusty's appliance's

Do NOT waist your time or money. ........huge disappointment. .........after they have taken your hard earned money they offer no customer service or stand behind their warranty.

I went to Dusty's looking for an electric stove they were to busy talking on the phone to help me.
I think it was the so called wife. Never greeted me or offered to help me so I left, never to return.
The posts on poor customer service is true they suck!!!!!!!!

Dusty's will continually mislead and lie to you about their products, deliveries, missing parts and testing their products. I would recommend that no one use this business to purchase appliances. You will receive excuse after excuse after excuse and will end up being rooked out of your money. Do not buy from these people. There should be an option for NO stars.

Thanks dustys appliances for amazing customer service and my new washer and dryer,this company even stayed to show me how to work the new washer and i got Free laundry soap as stated craigslist you never know what you will get and they proved to do as they stated very helpful and very knowlegable on the appliances they were selling.

I bought a washer at Dusty' about six week ago. They took my old washer that they have probably repaired and sold I spent 300 on what I though was a nice refurbished Samsung. Six weeks later I still have their non-working junk. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and sent this email w/ no reply:
I am sending this email because I was speaking with you and you put me on hold for over 4 minutes before disconnecting the call.

I have tried to call back several times, but it says you are unavailable. I bought a washer from you that has not worked since day one. You came out to fix it and said nothing was wrong with it. I had to wait two weeks for you to come out again with the intention of dropping off a loaner to repair the washer I bought. When you came out I was told the washer indeed did not work, but that a part would be ordered immediately and repaired. I was then told that this would cost too much, but that you would swap it out with a “dishes pake”( I have the email). Then I was told Dusty decided not to do that and ordered the part. I was also told that a loaner would be delivered immediately (that day)………

Days later, I was told that the delivery man was there and made an attempt, but could not reach me via phone. I was told that the only number you had on file was my work number, which was not the number you had when I purchased it or the number I gave you to reach me. It was the number you took from caller ID because I called from work.

I have electronic phone records at both my work and my cell. No attempts have been made to reach me, except one time when you returned my call at work. There was a card on my door, but I had two adults there who did not hear anyone knock on the door. I have since tried numerous times for a repair/replacement/loaner. I have been without a washer for over a month. I no longer wish to do business with Dusty’s. I would like a full refund so I can go purchase a working washer elsewhere. I do not want to have to file with the BBB or with Google or all of the other sites that give reviews or make contact with any of the other individuals who have also left reviews.

I would like my money returned and your washer picked up today. I need to purchase a new washer and I need the $300.00 to go towards it, as well as your washer removed so a new one can go there and I can do laundry.

I keep impeccable records and again, do not want to file a claim, but will do so this afternoon if I do not hear back from you.

DUSTY IS HORRIBLE AND HE HAS NO BUSINESS ETHICS AT ALL! Like other have written, if I could give zero stars I would, 1 star is really too generous in my opinion!!! Do yourself a favor and save time, money and frustration and just call Capritta Fine Appliances and Air Conditioning instead. Although, I had horrible service and ended up having to uses a second service to fix what he supposedly already “fixed” I wasn’t going to waste anymore of my time on this guy and write a review. It wasn’t until I looked at my bank account and saw he has now cashed my service check twice, once in April and a second time in June. I thought that my time of having to deal with his joke of a company was over but apparently it isn't..... If you have used him in the past keep an eye on your bank account, he is a slimy gross excuse for a business. I am now going to make it my personal mission to not only paste this review to every site I can find in hopes no one else will use him, but I will also be writing to the better business bureau.

Don't let the 4-star review confuse you, the only way he could get 4 stars is if his family and friends gave fake reviews. My fridge completely stopped working in the beginning of April I found Dusty Appliances online and called to see if he could come out to look at my fridge. It should have been a red flag when he said he would be there early morning and by 3pm I still hadn't heard from him. I decided to call him at 3 and see what was up. When I asked him what time he thought he could be by to look at my fridge he said he was on his way and it would take 20-30 minutes. Which leads me to believe he was not busy and could have been there hours ago. I left work and at 3, thinking he would be there by 3:30, at 4:30 he finally showed up. Looked at my fridge and said 2 boards were fried (the mother board and a second board in the back of the fridge). He ordered the parts said they would be in tomorrow by 11am. It was the next day at 2pm and I still hadn’t heard from him. Again, I called him and he pulled the same thing, "oh yeah, it just got it in, I will be there in about 20-30 minutes”. Again, I left work at 2:00pm and he didn't end up showing up until close to 4pm. He put the new parts in and said give the fridge some time to get to temperature. I monitored the fridge and over the next 2 days the temperature kept going down and back up and the ice machine wasn't working correctly either. I remember the paper with the “written receipt” he gave me stating that the parts were under warranty for a month. I tried to call him every hour from 3 different phones for the next 2 weeks, with no answer. Finally, on the start of the 3rd week someone answered, the person said he would call Dusty and see what was up. That was the last time I was ever able to get ahold of anyone. I finally said enough was enough and realized I probably wouldn't get him to answer the phone until my parts were past that 30-day mark. I decided to just give up on this joke of a business and called Cappritta, BEST DECISION EVER!! Cappritta was very professional, I did not feel like I was getting ripped off and most of all I comfortable and safe with the Cappritta worker in my house. The Cappritta worker said he had never heard of 2 boards going out at once, especially not the mother board and another board. The service worker found out was wrong and order another piece to fix my fridge. My fridge is now working great, all thanks to Cappritta!

Can't wait to see your response to this one Dusty. Let's not embarrass yourself anymore by trying to say everything I wrote is untrue, like you have tried with every other bad review you have received. It really is pathetic and only makes you look worse. I have the receipt proof from Cappritta as well as the bank statement proof that you have now cashed my check twice. You are shady and a sad excuses for a small business owner.

I moved to Florida in 2012 bought all my appliances from dusty's he's always done everything to fix any problems I've had. I've even had them come out and installed a garbage disposal that I purchased elsewhere. I tell everyone to go to dusty's
