If I was a person who has had any work done there, I would go to another title insurance company, and have them check it out. It may cost a few bucks, but it would be better to know you had good title than to not. If they made a mistake, and you bought title insurance, you could sue the title insurance company, and have it corrected, and perhaps get some money, as well.

I have heard from a very reliable source, that two people have filed a complaint with the Arkansas Insurance Commission, and also one has been filed with the Arkansas Bar Association.

I know that there were several complaints that were filed against them earlier this year, and nothing was done about it.

I know one instance when a husband and wife were selling their house they did not even have the husband to sign the deed, which means he still has his curtesy interest in the house, so the new owners do not have clear title to their land.

I have used Izard County Abstract several times over the past few years and have been very satisfied with the service. I was not treated unfairly and I continue to have good title on my property. I find it interesting how many instances have been in this tread stating "I heard". What experience have you had and are you brave enough to talk to the business owners about you dissatisfaction?

Go to the title place in Horseshoe Bend called Court Title by Hillhigh hotel.They are super nice and do the job right and very reasonable.

And I've heard also that they have a lot of complaints filed against them.
I have also heard they have many complaints filed against them, but apparently the Arkansas Insurance Commission will not do anything about it. I would suggest that anyone that has a problem with them should contact the Arkansas Insurance Commission. If they get enough complaints, maybe they will eventuall do something about it.

I was told recently that someone bought some land from a person who had back child support of over $50,000.00. I do not know if they got title insurance on their purchase, but if they did, they have a problem. Since it was not released, that would be attached to their land. If this did happen, the title insurance company and the lawyer could both be in big trouble, and maybe also the Arkansas Insurance Commission, for knowing they were not doing things right, and did nothing about it. I would be worried if I had gotten any title work done there.

What I do not understand is if people are aware of this, why do the banks and realtors insist to make their customers use this agency. It appears, it would be all about money, and no one cares if the customer gets good title to their land. Also, the fact of who it is and what family they are related to, may also make them go there.

That place is nothing but a bunch of crooks and liars. If you are divorced or widowed and want to keep your house or business.....find another title company!

I would like to suggest if any has been taken advantage of by this company, to contact the Arkansas Insurance Commission in Little Rock. They are over title insurance now. They have a website, and will tell you how to file a complaint.

The company is currently being investigated...know this for a fact because I was contacted by an investigator, met with the investigator and was asked to turn of several closing documents and one current escrow contract.

Well I sure hope they haven't done any of that valuable property on the white river, in and around guion, cause I have been hired by an individual to establish rightful ownership and chain of tiltle along with an attorney to assist in fraud situations a private investigator to look for "info" and watch for current inappropriate or unjust activities. Not only am I a real estate investigator but I am daughter of a congressman so who you know or what your name is doesnt make one hill of beans to me...actually makes this puzzle more fun. Have a blessed day cause I may bury you tomorrow
