Yahoo Answers Punishes People Who Protest Censorship. Is this fair?I resently had a legitimate question removed based on it violating (?) the "question answer format"? a vague and often mis-used reason..... the reporter often uses this "reason" to silence information THEY do not like to hear....."censorship "
If you protest this mis-use of the rules and violation of the "spirit" of a free and open exchange of information .... it can cost YOU ten points if "someone" determines you were wrong..... but if the person misusing the system is found wrong.....they keep their points..... their punishment for violating the rights of others.....is a vague "we will not give them as much credit the next time they protest" !!!!
Yahoo answers PUNISH you for asking for a review..... but does NOTHING to those attempting to mis-use the system for their own bias......IS THIS FAIR ?....... IS THIS EQUAL TREATMENT ?

The board will undoubtedly scream fining the reporter 10 points will put a "chill" on those wanting to report violations.... which is true..... people rep[orting violations will need to be sure it is indeed a violation.... that could be a good thing.....BUT lets say they find that objectionable......should they not also find punishing a person for demanding a hearing / trail also objectionable and producing a "chill" factor?
This forum is a valuable source of information.....a service to the community...... it's corruption and mis-use should not be tolerated
The free exchange of information, opinion, and ideas is critical to a free society...... to making correct decisions in a democracy......Yahoos application of the rules some t6imes stifles that free exchange. Isn't that wrong......isn't that censorship based on the personal bias of the adjudicator??
