Why "single" mothers? Why not divorcees? Or unwed mothers? How many windows in the bunch? Nary a one, I imagine.
Why do I get the feeling that perhaps the culprits are disgruntled church members who are fed up with their charitable donations benefitting the fornicator, the deadbeat, and the irresponsible? |

Who better represents Jesus to single mothers? Medinah Baptist Church? Or you, sitting behind your computer screen embarassing yourself with harsh and foolish comments? The members of Medinah Baptist have supported this ministry with their donations and volunteers rehab the cars as their ministry. I don't know why you get the feeling disgruntled members did the vandalism. I'm more concerned about where those feelings come from. You'd be wise to worry about your own soul. Go to Medinah Baptist this Sunday, I bet they'd love to help you with that. |

She is either divorced or an unwed mother because she is taking her daughter to see her father. Single mothers can be divorced or unwed...it's basically the same thing. And I really think that if someone else in the church needed some kind of help that members would step up and help them out as well. |

No "windows", but maybe a "widow". Your premise about "culprits are disgruntled church members..." shows you don't go to church. It sounds like you should though. |

She should make the father of her child drive from Wisconsin to Barrington to pick up the daughter. Why you doing all the work for him, girl?

I had the same question, and there might be a good reason for it. It does make you wonder why a man would make his ex, who has a debilitating disease, do all the driving. |

They were teenagers. I saw about five teenagers walk and run past my house several times between 10 pm and 2 am. They threw a huge explosive devise at my house last year, so I was watching this year. I live close to the church. I'm pretty sure I know who they are, although I didn't see them do it. I just heard about this yesterday from my neighbor. I lived in a nice and respectful neighborhood until they moved in. They're trouble. I may go to the police. |
