Splash pad, airport upgrades on tap for Medina leaders
The city finance committee will kick off the night in the downstairs multipurpose room and discuss 11 topics, including: refinancing of the remaining amount of 2002 debt issue; hiring of a firm to plan a Mellert Park Splash Pad project; and installing railroad crossing gates on Guilford Boulevard.

A splash pad? really? how important is this to spend taxpayer money on? How about selling the rec center, very few people can even afford to go there and it was crammed down the taxpayers throat. Why not let these kids go there? It's paid for by taxpayer money so therefore EVERYONE should have a free pass to go there. n It shouldn't have been built for the privledged few.

Airport upgrades that now are costing more, when the hospital had FREE landing space for the helicopters. Don't even come to the taxpayer for this crap. This city put lives on line when the
helicopter inconvenienced a few people. Let them pay for it!
