Judged: 1 Natural selection then I guess. Sucks that people have to learn these lessons by watching people die over and over doing the same things using the same vehicle. Can't figure bikers out really. I mean, I used to love riding my dirt bike when I was younger, but even then I knew my limits, and what NOT to do. |

Judged: 1 Just was a sad lesson in life that happened. (And for anonamous? what was the purpose to make your statement about his drinking, doesn't sound like a friend to me if that is all you wanted to write). If you know his parents they are very kind people and he meant the world to them. |

Judged: 2 2 1 I feel bad that another young life has been lost, but "anonamous" has every right to post information. This is a public forum, not a memorial site. You will find that on Legacy.com . |

Judged: 1 1 1 Yeah! What are these people doing, by not using a helmet. I imagine that they're hot, and uncomfortable, but they should be worn. I see these people, too. They're really taking a dangerous chance by not using a helmet. |

Judged: 2 2 1 You are right.. but let me explain... There has been many threads lately where someone young has died (mostly MVAs) and the posters have gotten out of hand on both sides. I didn't want to see that happen again, just wanted to nip it in thebud so to speak. I'm sorry that I came off much harser than I intended. Regardless of the cause of the accident, as a mother who also lost a son much too young, my thoughts and prayers go out to his family...sjt |

The accident was two houses down from me. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family!

This is America and we have a choice on whether to wear a helmet or not, it's not required in Ohio. It's unfortunate that this young man was killed but he did make a choice and had an accident. People die everyday you really shouldn't "freak out" about it. |

i was able to have a great time working with purnell and he was indeed a great guy. i wish i had more of a chance to get to know him more.i dont care about the fact that he drank before he rode. i care about the fact that he was a great guy who had his life planned out. he served our country and was trying to be a firefighter to help save people. you people can say what you want but should realize that this world has lost a great guy who did and could of done more good for us. and yes him and his best friend were wearing helmets. purnell you will be missed.
