Levy is vital to Medina district

Medina City Schools predicts a $13.29 million deficit by the end of June 2011 if an 11.7-mill incremental levy fails Tuesday, Treasurer Wally Gordon said.

Guess it wasn't vital to the people who pay the taxes all the time, the ones who didn't get raises, lost their jobs, lost their homes, have trouble feeding their kids, had major medical bills.
Next time make the cuts that SHOW us that you are cutting things that would make us believe that you realize your overzealous spending instead of taking away busing or sports.
Maybe take away the principle educating kids on their text messaging as seen on Fox 8, that is the parents responsiblity not the principle and certainly not my idea of spending MY TAX money wisely.

I'll check it out, but I am determined to make sure the board answers questions, such as all their little trips to California, Colorado, Columbus over the last year as stated in the Trading Post along with a 3.5 wage increase??? Yet they cut busing? We need a limo company or bus company to come in and show them they can keep spending money with their newsletter that is dishonest or pay out some more to put it on ballot.
Give me a freaking break.
