Taxpayers Paying for Welfare Here in Orleans County

[Just Curious]

I have 3 Questions I would like to get your Input on Concerning Welfare here in Orleans County New York.

1. Do you feel it is right for Tax Payers to pay for a Welfare recipient to purchase a home?
Ex.: Welfare will pay for a Mortgage , Rent to Own lease or land contract, Taxes, Homeowners Insurance . Plus Welfare recipients are eligible for Home Improvements through County and State Programs such as Insulation, Windows , Doors, Furnaces and so on….

2. Do you feel it is right for Tax payers to pay for a Welfare recipient that is living in a household with several other incomes and having none of them counting?
Ex: Welfare will allow a recipient to live in a household with others and will not take into account the income of another person. It is also a fact that a person receiving SSI is considered a O.T.G.( Other Than Grantee ) meaning they are on the grant but their income is Invisible.
Fact that if a person moves in with a person on Welfare this is considered Fraud by the recipient but it is ok for a Welfare recipient to live with a person not on Welfare. Confusing is it?

3. Do you as Tax Payers feel is right for a Welfare recipient to receive SSI (Federal Welfare) and P.A.( State Welfare) at the same time and not have to comply with the Welfare to Work Program at all ?
Ex: Meaning if you have a person whom is capable of working but claims a disability to get out of working and is capable of working on vehicles, Demolition ,Remodeling Work and Home repairs, Participating in Sports Tournaments at Bars . Don’t you think this should warrant a Investigation?

I have No Clue what you are talking about "But" I assure you that I am not the person you think I am because I do have a job and a Great Life as well and I sure as heck don't live in Orleans County I have family there and I feel sorry for them with people like you who live there defending a Welfare System that is Broken. It seems to me that All the tax payers there in Orleans County feel this is ok? If this happened here I would be pissed off! I feel if you want to make Orleans County a better place for all then start with your politicians and fire all the morons running the DSS department! This is pure BS!
