yeah, bullets in medical lake, as if they are needing them, they should have a stockpile over the last 35 years. i mean the only members of the mlpd who are using the bullets are using them on themselves...and that just takes one bullet. we need more funding for schools. than guns. you f(*&king retards.

Police Officers need to train weekly to be proficient with their weapons, so I have been lead to believe. Do these officers need to be trained daily to drive police vehicles. Do they loose direction in their vehicles. Do they need to be retrained to write a report. Do they need to be retrained to speak with the citizens of Medicine Lake. Just asking.

This is from the most recent Spokane Police Department/Spokane County Sheriff federal crime grant application. Remember the Spokane County Sheriff's office covers the entire county including the Medical Lake area. "As the SCSO’s current supply of ammunition becomes outdated, it is used for training exercises to ensure the SCSO has on hand a current supply of ammunition for use in the event of riot, civil disturbance, or other law enforcement needs." This is probably true with other law enforcement organizations. Like most government, you have to prove you have used your budget and resources up or the taxpayers start asking why they are giving you so much money. This is another interesting section from the same grant application: "$2,500 will be used to cover the cost of the contract with DRMO (Department of Revenue Management Office) to provide the SCSO the opportunity to purchase surplus military equipment."
