Medical Lake fireworks

Ok people of Medical Lake, Wa. lets hear it are you for the fireworks in Medical Lake or against the fireworks.

You know, I have about had it with people shooting off fireworks on the public streets in Medical Lake. I have lived here since '93, most of those years working graveyard shift. Needless to say it is very difficult to sleep when your neighbors are shooting off fireworks across the street or next door to you. Then to come home in the morning to find "died soldiers" in the street, on your front lawn, on your roof, and in your back yard. The remanents of my neighbors "right" to celebrate the birth of our nation may well last for several days if the City of Medical Lake, WA does not send the street sweeper out to clean up the mess. And who pays for that? How about Medical Lake's finest issuing a few tickets up and down the streets. Am I for or against? You decide my position.

Fireworks in Medical Lake...as a 6th generation Medical Laker - Leave our fireworks alone! I am sorry Zman(Kalispell, MT) is unable to appreciate the tradition of fireworks. I do agree that people need to be more considerate in cleaning up, but this is no excuse to be a 4th of July grinch! If Zman's neighbors don't clean up - he should speak with them or report them...the police won't issue a citation unless the problem is reported.

I am also sick of fireworks in Medical Lake and its time to put a ban to them. For the past 2 weeks some idiot has been letting off fireworks at in the early hours of the morning. Last night it was 1:30 am the night before at 2:30 am. We are woken up from sleep and it upsets one of our dogs. In Medical Lake fireworks are restricted so as far as I know that means they can only be let off on the 4th. As some of the youth,(and it goes without saying that the people breaking the law are teenage boys, who else would it be?) in Medical Lake cannot abide by the rules then I think we should go along with Cheney and ban them outright.
