The scam is a common one: A person on the phone says, 'Hey, Grandma, I'm stranded in a foreign country, and I need money," hoping someone on the other end of the line will pony up.

These scammers are being a pain, I have seen a bunch of reports on http://www.ruscammer.com about fake arrests or some cousin you know was in a car accident
