honestly speaking I do not think their is any safe area in Mastic, your going to hear bullets wizz over your head and ding ding ding from them hitting your car driving on neighborhood Road.

The residents neglect home, rent ever space to who knows who usally to convicts and x-cons or sex offenders, the area is plagued by welfare ghetto trash.

I assume you collect welfare or just got out of jail if your looking to reside in Mastic? Then anywhere in mastic is perfect for you, you will fit right in with the rest of the loser trash in Mastic.

there is a beautiful house for sale on Victoria, not too close to water, nice garage, and it's walking distance to church, stores, and water. Only $100,000. Check it out.

The best place you can live in Mastic Beach is in South Bellport. And the indian reservation is a phony indian reservation. My grandfather told me there were no indians living there and he knew all of them back in the 1940's and 50's.How do they keep that land not being indians?

South Bellport has million dollar estates. The Indian res is in Mastic, not MBV. The comments directed towards the native Americans not being Indians is likely a racist insinuation that they don't look like Indians.

I recently moved to Mastic Beach last summer. It's quiet where I am there's no shenanigans. I live in a beautiful newer Colonial. It's just like any other Town some parts are good some parts are not so good. We came this way because it was the only place we could afford to live on Long Island and still pay for my daughter's medical issues. We do not utilize the school system. We enjoy living by the water we are not scared to walk around. There are bad people everywhere no matter where you go no matter where you live. It's about what makes you happy and what makes you feel comfortable. Investing in a home alarm system to make you feel better about your move until you are more comfortable with the town is also another great idea and that really goes for any area. I'm sick of this place getting a bad rap. A lot of the shenanigans is getting pushed out hard-working middle income families are moving in bringing up the home values cleaning up the homes that are foreclosed and getting rid of the zombie houses from Sandy. We are happy with our move
