The medford police department has been profiling the young here for many years. you say you want ryan to "snitch" about weed in school?
Do you happen to know how many kids that never had a violent offense in their life get their entire futures ruined because they get kicked out of school for smoking weed? and may i add that NJ passed a MEDICINAL MARIJUANA bill, BUT weed stays as a SCHEDULE 1 DRUG, by definition schedule 1 means "Drug with NO medicinal value"

Please GIVE ME INFORMATION ABOUT THIS i will take the medford police down in court they have profiled me nonstop and searched me illegally more than 15 times. Medford is run by the rich, the rich have the freedom to do anything under the sun in medford, but the poor get assaulted physically and emotionally by everyone else. It does not surprise me that the oldest building in town is the Mason Lodge. Medford is run by the Illuminati

Use the kid for CDS at shawnee? Wow. so you assume that because this kid had a potato gun he automatically knows where CDS are. What are you hoping you'll find out anyway. Where a little pot is? What, they'll get a dime bag off the streets. wow

You couldn't have said it better. I have had the similar thoughts. To be honest I think the police department has a role in the drugs running rampant through town. They bust people non stop and question you until you bleed information and find out who is supplying other than themselves. They then steal the drugs from kids and put them back on the streets to make a profit. They won't let anyone undersell to their customers. If you think Im insane than you must ask. Why did the department recieve a brand new 2010 harley motorcyce from the Italian Steak house owner? Was it a coincidence that the chief left the department after this had surfaced? Who leaves a job as police chief in a town that rakes in the money in traffic tickets and drug busts. The next time you see a cop pulling someone over for "speeding" and all that other bull crap, remember that there is someone getting raped, beat, stuffs being stolen, and real crimes are happening. But thank god they got that one speeder and the kid that had 3 stems and a seed on the floor of the car.

Medford police are a joke, canale is a joke and that will never change. All they will continue to do the rest of time is harass teenagers because they have nothing better to do with their time. The best part is they think there making all the difference in the world when they arrest a young teen. Believe me, coming from a medford/shawnee alumni who was harassed by medford police more than once. medford PD= JOKE!!!! always were always will be!

I grew up in Medford and Graduated Shawnee HS in 1991. I have driven the roads of Medford for years and received 1 ticket because I was young and dumb. Reading everyones moaning and growning drives me nuts. Laws are Laws and we need to respect them and police. I read an atricle today http://www.wsbtv.com/news/news/local/6-year-o... , that a 6 year old was killed by a pellet gun. Do you know the power of a potato gun. They are extremely powerful and dangerous. If you aimed that at a kid, it could possible kill them, if it hits the right area... It could even blow up in the kid's face that was operating it. Where are the parents these days!!!!! How about tough love,,, where did that go? Oh that's right, we need to worry about drugs and murders, right? Well, officers teaching young kids lessons NOW, protect and teach them from commiting future crimes. I was taken to the police station for throwing snow balls at cars. I was scared to death,,, AND learned my lesson. I think the parents should start to police their kids more! Just my opinion...

You're absolutely right the Medford PD should have to do zero police work in identifying the situation and recognizing the two "suspects" are by themselves. Obviously its necessary to draw their weapons one of these 18 and 12 year olds could have been endangering the lives of Medford's Finest.

Why don't we all step back and put our pitchforks down, the reality is that since Medford is a town that is relatively vanquished of crime, someone has to fill the void of an egomaniacal authoritative figure. So instead of having a balance between taxes paid towards the police force and the level of crime, we've resorted to overpaying a group of police that are anxious to arrest and ticket.

Keep in mind this 18 year old criminal is a two time action combat veteran of the Marine Corp. Sadly this is an ordinary occurrence in South Jersey, where an overpaid police force is intoxicated with power.

I forgot to add that chief Canale and his merry band of thives can retire after 20 years. A friend of mine retired from the Medford P D and his pension was $80,000 + benefits of $10,000.He was 50 years old.The average life expectincy for a male is 78 years. Due the math.
$90,000 x 28 years =$2,520,000.Sounds fair to me. I wonder what other residents feel about this. Canale, your favorite saying is "MAN UP" Why don't you take your own advise.I look forward to a response but I highly doubt you have the courage! Lets see!
Wow. How angry and jealous you sound. First off, get your facts straight. NJ police officers can retire after 25 years and new hires at 30 years. That's 25 years of the longest hours you can't imagine 24/7 not to mention risking your life every single day!! Next you jackass, all of these officers PAY a mandatory 10% payroll deduction from every paycheck they earn to fund the police retirement system which is then invested!! Their retirement after years of abuse from ass holes like you is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!!
