This is great news but should be implemented in reverse...... Medford Lakes should take over police actions for Medford. Medford Lakes has about 1/3 the size force of Medford and that is more than sufficient for handling all the serious crime we have here in Medford. We would save 2 or 3 times the money and be just as safe

Medford could cut their police force in half and cut out overtime. This would help tax payers greatly. After all, their biggest task is catching teenagers drinking in the woods. I heard they spent $30,000 on quad's to catch the teenagers. This is rediculous.

Medford cops make about $100,000.00 a yr plus benefits with overtime. Their pension is based on highest 3 years.# yrs at 100,000. even if OT gives the a taxpayer paid retirement of about $60<000.00 a yr. Reduce the cops....yea sure.

What do yoou know about our police officers in Medford? Only what you hear through the grape vine? Why don't you get involved with your community and then maybe you will understand. If yo think another town will be any better than by all means leave.

The point passed way over your head. I will place it in elementary terms, "TOO MANY COPS"
"SALARY TOO HIGH" PENSION BENEFITS TOO GENEROUS"

Being involved is irrelevant.
