when i asked the first responders if they thought the township would finally lower the speed limit on skeet rd. they joked and said people on skeet rd. dont pay enough in taxes for the township to care.

any idiot riding bikes on Skeet rd, need to have their head examined...sure, we can talk about yielding to bikes and pedestrians, blah, blah, blah... but common sense says, riding bikes on roads with no shoulders = high likelihood of getting hit. Use your head.

any idiot driving down skeet rd. that cant avoid hitting a pedestrian or bicycle should have their license taken away

hey marc, how do you figure? The road is barely big enough to let two cars pass at the same time.... the white line immediately followed by a ditch and then woods, or someone front lawn. Hey, you wanna do something worthwhile, why not stand at the corner of stokes and skeet, and hand out leaflets (to those on bikes) telling them of the dangers of riding on roads with no shoulders? See, you momma was wrong, you CAN be useful....

my beef is with the 40 mph speed limit that almost nobody follows. school is about to start kids will be waiting for the bus and getting off at the end of the day. oh and by the way i have driven up and down skeet rd and have never hit a person , biker , mailman , trash truck or anything else . now would i want to ride a bike or walk on skeet rd. NO but if i did if someone hit me i would hope every one would not blame me for it

Marc, point taken, ppl drive way too fast on that dangerous road... and no, we won't blame you, and we will even feel sorry for you ... and we will even try to prosecute the idiot that hit you for carelessness or reckless driving....

However, Marc, When you get better, we need to have a stern discussion about your very poor choice in Bike Riding locations. I can show you 600 better places to ride your bike, all within a 5 mile radius.... you don't even have to leave town..

Like I said, it ain't right, it ain't fair, life is sometime poopy, and, and, you should be able to ride where ever you want.. however, when you done playing 'sons of liberty', consider that discretion is the better part of freedom in this case.....

accidents happen, but we have to learn to share the road. if you aren't driving like mad, accidents can be prevented.
