Although it was long overdue, on Friday caroline county put an end to clyde's violent rampage through life. As someone who considers his victims like family, I have witnessed their wounds continually being opened up through the trial. I have seen the way he has destroyed the normal childhood, teenage years and early adulthood of his own children and stepchildren. I know in my heart that given the chance he would continue to do so. The verdict does not erase the pain he has caused but it does give hope of healing to the brave victims who have suffered for TOO long. In regards to the people who do not agree with the jury's decision I would like to ask you, why should he be free when these people are not. His victims will never be able to erase the memories that keep them up at night. They can only continue to channel their anger into making the changes in this county to keep our children, neighbors and friends safe.

so I know the Davenport family, and they just don't care about anyone. They know all about Clyde and now everyone knows about them , Bet they were all in church this sunday

How is it that the 3rd. grade teacher knew about this tooth but his mother, who was also a 3rd. grade teacher in the same school, didn't know for a few years? Jimmy says Clyde threaten to kill his mother if he told anyone but he told his teacher. He wasn't afraid then. Why now?
And why when a little girl gets up in a court room and says she heard Susan tell Jimmy she'd buy him a car if he said this about Clyde, that she is called an actress? When in fact, Susan did buy him a new car.
I think the adults in this case are all lying about something. They all deserve some jail time.

the whole Davenport family is lying, everyone knows it was'nt about a tooth, and Clydes last act of abuse was to have J lie in court and the CA proved that . Hey where was the Davenport family when the trial was on , I know praying for Ray P and wesley D . Go back to chruch with your disfunctional family and beg for forgiveness

This is a horrible situation and we'll probably never know the whole story. I met a couple of the Davenports and thought they were good people, but really don't know them that well. Was hoping to get to know them better. Are they all like Mr Clyde Davenport?
