You may not spell that well in a hurry, but you sure have more common sense than most. People who watch the news and form judgements on things they don't know are they kind that have brought America to its knees. Morons who watch cops and believe whatever shows on their TV screens.

Mavis-How do you know the agency refused to take the dog back? I don't remember reading that in the article.

Really Mavis? The way I see is that regardless of whether or not SOS would take the dog back doesn't negate the legal requirement for the owner to provide the dog with access to food, water and shelter. Leaving a dog tied to the tree without those three items is a violation of State law (Code of Virginia Section 3.2-6503).
I wonder if these so kind folks who were so taken advantage of called animal control after ditching the dog to let them know where she was, my thought is no or else we wouldn't be reading about this as a news item.
