My mother-in-law just called about 30 minutes ago and said that it hit her house. Her roof is mostly gone and all the windows are blown out. Thankfully she and my father-in-law are OK. She lives in Henrico Co.

i saw it too. We were driving on the bridge right near the moose lodge when it passed over the highway (295). We went right through all the debris, which was flying all over the place. It was ssooooooo scary.

I near the VFW in Mechanicsville and my house suffered some damage, I feel very blessed tonight.
It was awesome to see neighbors helping each other in our time of need.

Mill valley subdivision in Mechanicsville got hit where I live. One tree crushed almost half of someones house, people said they weren't even home yet. You could see a path right where it went through. Shingles were off houses, trees were twisted and uprooted. There was a stop sign that got knocked down That was out in the open by it's self. There was about 4-5 houses with trees on them..... Luckily I only lost one tree in my front yard.....

I am just glad that there hasn't really been any major injuries/fatalities with these storms/tornados. I love severe weather but that is the one aspect that I do not like is people getting hurt. Also don't like property getting torn up but that at least can be replaced.
