All of the girls that dance at dreams are wonderful dancers for their age and they get better week by week. If our studio was in business for 20 plus years they would be absolutely flawless. And if i was another studio i would be nervous and talking trash because they girls are bringing it more and more each and every year. Everytime we have class we are laughing and enjoying ourselves. Our ladies have come so far over these passed few years so how about we let our young girls mature and keep getting hours in at the studio and they will be at the top. We are a family showtroupe or not all of our dancers get the attention they deserve. Alot of students have come from other studios saying they were absolutely not happy. Everyone can have their own opinion but please be able to back up your opinions. We dont need to go and put others down to try to make ourselves look better because the girls are not taught to be that way. They are worried about working on themselves and working together as a team. Personal attacks on tara like being "fat" and "trashy" and had nothing to do with her business. People are jealous that dreams is successful so all they can do is slander others names to try and get a step ahead. Its sad. Please stop with the slander and negativity. Come and see for yourself.

I know somebody who went to dreams. Her and Her group were on stage and the took them off.I dont think you should put your child/children in this studio they are heartbreaking people to hurt a dance group like that. They didnt even care when they saw my friend crying at the end!! The studio is bad!! Dont let any one talk you into put your child in the studio the teachers at the end give kids lolliepops at the end just to make the child feel good. they yell at the kids when they dont get something right or forget what to do.They let the kids stay in the room when they have to get something. They also let the kids out early and miss class time that they could use to practice with.So my evice is to put your child in a diffrent dance studio.

Ok I am a show troupe dancer at dreams and have been from the very start and this "anonomys" person is WAY wrong, miss Tara pushes us to our full potential, not because "we suck"! She has taught me so much and I am lucky to have such a great studio!!

My daughter danced at Dreams for the 2011/2012 season. It was her first year of dance.

First, the positives: I found the studio to be extremely professional. I thought the recital was well-organized and the teachers (my daughter had Alisa) and Tara were nice. The children seemed happy. My daughter learned a lot. I was impressed by the level of dancing in the recital.

Now, the negatives: it is expensive. The lessons were more than others in the area, as were recital tickets, costumes, etc. My biggest issue, and why we left, had to do with the recital. Maybe I am in the minority, but I did find the music inappropriate. Even if something is bleeped out, kids are smart enough to discern what is being said and the message in that kind of music. I didn't want my kid dancing to it or listening to it. Along with the music, I found some of the dances to be inappropriate. The preschool dances were fine, but I would be very uncomfortable allowing my child to do the dances of the older kids.

So, in conclusion, I agree with many of the negative reviews regarding the age-appropriateness. However, if you aren't concerned about inappropriate music/moves(at least by my definition, I think you should be able to find music that doesn't need an edit when you are teaching kids), then the studio is fine.

Finally, in response to other comments, I didn't think anyone was "hoochy" or improperly dressed and I couldn't care less whether or not Tara is overweight. I also never saw her outside smoking while someone else was teaching her class (I have no idea if she smokes or not, but I never saw it during our weekly lesson).

this place is terrible..the owner was rude and yelled at the students all the time. don't waste your money at this place. this woman is a bar fly who drinks all the time, has very low morales and might just try to steal your husband. anyway it's a very poorly run dance studio. I would go elsewhere, your child would be way better off..

Excuse me, "anonymous", that is just plain rude and cold-hearted! All of the teachers are extremely nice and appropriate! Dreams Studio is very organized and professional! Tara doesn't yell, she is very nice and points out mistakes! She does not drink and she is not not rude!

This studio is a great studio !!! My Daughter has been dancing here for 4 years (with many more to come), and has been improving a lot ! She recently was asked to join the Pre-Company/ Show-troupe competitive team . Tara is an excellent Owner/Director. All of the teachers at the studio are GREAT !!! My daughter has worked with every single one, and has loved them all ! I would not recommend another dance studio. if your looking for a studio for your child to improve on his or her dancing , technique, and etc Dreams Studio Of Dance is defiantly the place to go !!
