I hope they get tons of help!
I've cross posted this need and anyone who can help should.
Humans continue to allow animals to breed. Then when the animal isn't a puppy/kitten anymore or the new fun wears off they want to dump them. We need new and better laws to enforce that when you take in an animal it should be like adopting a child. I mean come on people they are LIVING BREATHING FEELING being's just like YOU & ME. Would you dump your child because your economic out look is grim?
I'm 50 years old and have NEVER EVER given up an animal that I have adopted. I have taken in animals from people who would no longer care for them and have placed them in new and fur-ever homes And yes, I keep in touch with them to this day.
Please think about the animal and your living situation before bringing an animal into your home. If you are not willing to go the extra mile to find a house/apt. that will allow your furry friend, take meds due to so called allergies or spend a few $ on vet care the DO NOT BRING AN ANIMAL INTO YOUR LIFE. I'm not saying you have to be rich just caring of another living beings feelings.
Sorry so dang long but shelters shouldn't be so full and people need to start taking responsibility for there actions.
