This is so sad. I can't even begin to imagine how their family feels right now. I hope and pray that they are found soon, safe and sound.

I just don't understand this. How many people/authorities are looking for these people? It would be nice to hear some comments from their daughter about any speculations she might have. Did either one of them become ill? Or were they the types that would simply go somewhere else on a whim (just for fun)?
Most people their ages look at how they're doing overall before they travel anywhere and I'm assuming they were feeling fine when they left to go to their daughter's home.
I don't know; is it just me that feels an air of nonchalance in this? No finger pointing here, but something isn't right.

Are you serious, BGSU? The most likely scenario for people of any age, is a car accident that no one saw occur.
You are fingerpointing and it's out of line.

yes, the one who is always suspicious, pointing fingers and blaming without having any factoids.

They could of had a 100 man crew out looking but she thinks this is being handled nonchalant.

You can't base your opinion off of a newspaper article. They don't get the whole story. It's the PO.

are you going out and spending all night playing detective looking for this couple or are you arm chair managing?

No I'm not, and that scenario is not most likely. Otherwise, more people that are missing would be found. There's many different things that happen to people who drive off and never reach their destinations.
My comments come from my consideration of their ages and distance of travel.

I really wish they would have reported the details of when this happened with them before.
I'd be checking motels within a fairly good radius of their usual route. Perhaps they've become so overwhelmed, their checked in somewhere and don't comprehend time lapse well enough now.

Hey, folks:

These is an elderly couple in a bright red 2009 Honda coupe - a vanity plate on the front with a rose and the initials: BLF (written in script).

I'm hoping - and praying - that they've become a bit confused and are "lost", not too far from home.

They're from Shippensburg - last seen leaving Mechanicsburg on Friday: Bill & Betty Fresch.

Please keep a watchful eye out for them - and send some prayers along the way.

Thanks.
