Kudos to LVC adn the studen volunteers. I grew up 2 blocks from the campus, and I know the benefits available to the citizens of the surrounding community. However, how many people not directly involved with the college take advantage of lectures, performances, the library, and a dozen other areas? The fact that I'm making the first comment here says something. If this was an article about someone getting stabbed on North 9th Street or a robbery on the North Side, there would be a dozen comments here, most of them negative. Not all education comes from a teacher in a classroom. There is much to learn by exploring what surrounds us every day.

It's wonderful that students are giving back to the community. However, what does that have to do with the Democrat party?

"Proud to be a Democrat" has been my name ever since I registered 2 years ago to leave feedback. The fact that the only other 2 comments include references to my moniker are precisely why I chose this name in the first place. Lebanon County needs to move into the 21st century, and learn to think outside the Republican box.

And not just Lebanon County. Remember Carville's quote: PA comprises Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and everything in between is Alabama. Sometimes I just cannot understand the retrogressive thinking in Central PA.

Are "Liberals" Dumber than ever? here's why !!
Most of the democratic party "liberals" who supported Obama were never very bright. Studies showed Obama was supported by the dumbest people in the nation.
But the "liberals" who still support Obama and the socialist democrats seem to have gotten even dumber,
What has caused the increasing stupidity of Obama and the socialist Democrat supporters ??????????How about their nanny-state MENTALITY ??? and this !!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Frank; you have just proven my point about the Lebanon County "group think." You are obviously uninformed regarding the difference between Democratic, liberal, and intelligent. Those words are not interchangable though some or all my apply to someone. Some of us prefer to read, listen to all sides, think and form our own opinions. You should try it.

I've read your posts.......I've thought about them.........and I have formed an opinion that you are a young, naive, idealistic twit with little "real world" experience. Tell me how long you've run your own business, how much of your own money you've put at risk to invest in that business, how many people you've employed, and the cumulative amount of taxes that you've paid and perhaps I will have better information to revise my opinion.
