Bomb-proof windows? Explosive-proof walls? Why? South Mountain is a populated town. Shouldn't something that needs bomb-proof windows and explosive proof walls been put in the middle of nowhere and not near people's homes?

I'm taking an educated guess here Janie, but all newly-built government buildings, especially those associated with the military, are built to specifications which call for such items, the better to hinder the "terrorists" with.
Personally, I'm thinking perhaps they should have cut those huge, beautiful pines directly behind their building. Hopefully they've installed explosion-proof roofs also - pines seem to be the first to fall in a big storm, and those suckers are HUGE!
