A police dog is a very valuable asset. Now lets hope it does not become the LVC mascot with the police using it answer every call regarding college students. They should've invested the Grant money on prevention, such as DARE the they wouldn't have to worry about the drugs because they were Proactive. The dog will be a nice addition though.

The AC Board are TOTAL idiots. They didn't look into it to good. Yes a K-9 is good for police work. HOWEVER what about the monthly training the dog and officer must attend to stay certified? What about the month or two to train the officer and dog team? Who is going to cover the township when that officer is asked to assist another agency? Who is going to pay for the yearly vet bills? How much liability insurance will they be picking up to cover dog bites? The list goes on.

OH YEAH WE'LL JUST RAISE THE TAXES MORE FOR A DEPARTMENT THAT SUCKS!

If it takes $300 billion dollars in tax cuts to get the Repunks. to vote for a $1.5 trillion dollar stimulus package the tax cuts will hardly be much more than a "symbolic" gesture to gain the required votes needed from the Repunks. to gain a partisian vote.

This is how this works Carl, since you decided the $1800.00 dollars Litz gave back to the County was nothing more than a symbolic gesture, I've decided $300 billion out of a $1.50 trillion dollar package would also be symbolic gestures to gain the required partisan votes to pass the package.

Well lets see 300 Bill of a 1.5 Trill package would be about 20% of the package

in contrast $1800 of the counties 30 million budget would be about .0001

Umm yeah that seems like a fair comparison. DUH

Far Left and Right people such as yourself are whats wrong with this country, Blame the other side, yada yada yada
