They towed my car from a parking lot that was not clearly marked-one sign said something different from all the others and was in a location where you wouldn't see it. They only had my car for 10 minutes before I called.(Sign for their company in a nearby lot, so they were the first I called.) Man on phone was very rude because I couldn't hear him and he wasn't responding to my greetings. They drove back to the lot without my car and verbally assaulted me over the towing and spoke to my mother on the phone-after hanging up he told me to tell her that she was an a**hole. He made several other inappropriate and rude comments, even after I asked him to just go and get my car, I was not interested in discussing the matter with him. He wrote on the bill that I was rude and said to watch where I park in Chapel Hill-that he would be watching. These guys are sketchy, rude, and not people I would want to ever meet again. Considering filing a civil suit against restaurant for deceitful signs (and obviously the towing company also profits from this practice!).

This is not a legit company..I know from personal experience. Doug Adams cares nothing for its customers as long as they pay. I would avise not using these people for service, because you won't get any. They will not stand behind their service.

Call another service! No one tied your hand and made you use Adams Towing!! Better yet set you fanny on the side of the road, another suggestion call the yellow bird and pay their pricing and see how much you complain!! Come on people! It's a bussiness and undoubtly pretty professional by looking at their trucks! Sounds like a little jealously!!

You people are IGNORANT. This man comes from a good family and has built this business all on his own. He does more on the way to work than most of you do in a day and 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. He is a good employer, brother, son, friend and most of all father.He may have nice things however, he pays the price for it everyday. Women hate him because they want him and most men hate him for that and he's flashy. He wears nice clothes and is judged by that.He buys rental property and he's a drug dealer? Seriously? He's sucessful. He knows how to make things work. There are alot of dreamers in this town. People who sit around and talk about what they are gonna do...he actually done something. He's human and has made mistakes but he's a good guy. So all of you people should grow up, go to work and shut your mouth. Make your on way in this world and stop hating someone you don't even know. Give the man a chance.. Next time you see him speak to him, I promise he will speak back. Don't beleive everything you hear because it's prob as fake as the person that told you.

I would just like to say I know Doug personally. I worked for him about a year ago and found another job offer that paid a little more money, but besides that fact, he is a good man. I never towed anything illegal like everyone is saying. AAA knows what goes on with Doug or they obviously wouldn't let him have such a big area to cover as he does. I towed at least 20 cars a day and I am just one little employee. Its an honest business but if you don't like it, find someone else to do it. Stop bad mouthing someone you do not know. Sure he wasn't perfect, but who the hell is? Grow up. get to know him. Hell if you need a job, go apply for one there because he is the only business in town that is doing good. I am sure he'll give you a chance.

Who cares and mind your own business!! If you don't like his prices freaking call someone else.... I know for a fact that there is more than one tow truck in Alamance County! SHHUT YO MOUTH!
His personal life has nothing to do with his business, so leave it alone!!!

I have nothing personal to say about Doug don't know the guy don't want to know the guy. I was out there 14 to 18hrs a day running his trucks maybe not always towing but I was there and was more then willing to get the job done. But every week there was some new threat or new piece of paper to sign with some new threat on it. He gave us work phones granted some people took advantage of them but when he goes and complains about the phone bills and complains that employees are calling the office(which sometimes you have to do) and the lead dispatcher PENNY is a bitch treats everyone likes shit. I tried and tried until I got fed up and told her what I thought after being told that the next person to call the office was immediately terminated because his phone bills where to high, well NC being an at will state I got terminated for what? Doing my job??? Fuck him anyone I have ever talked to in the Burlington area says the same thing about him. He got his start running drugs, probably from the ex or still former hells angel Steve and the Hells Angel's. Fuck him he cares for nobody but himself. Don't ever work for him he will nickel and dime you for everything your worth!
