Having worked at many tax collector offices across the state, I hear the same thing from constituents over and over again..."I didn't receive my bill or no I didn't tell the commissioner I sold that car or I don't live there anymore" and many other excuses. When are people going to take responsibility for themselves? The county cannot read the minds of its residents. A little communication could have solved many of the delinqunet issues. Of course some of the delinquency notices are going to be overturned but the majority will be found to be accurate.
