People are so stupid. It is not Obama's fault for how the economy is. Everyone NEEDS to remember that the Bush administration is the cause of all this. Obama received all the mess of the Bush administration and he(Obama) is trying to fix all this mess. Everyone needs to grow up and stop blaming Obama. It is not his fault.

The owner says she not only blames President Obama, but other presidents as well for the poor economy.

Then why not put their names up as well?
Time to grow up ma'am.

I think as far as being an ex employ from Bosque farms bowl that our sign is perfectly correct; Since Obama was elected in to office that the economy has been going down hill for the entertainment business. Its hard to work at a job were its hard for the employer to you when you are supposed to get paid. It’s hard to pay your employs when you have no business coming in. People whose job doesn’t depend on people coming in and spending money just don’t under stand how are it is; if people don’t want to spend too much money your not going to have a lot of business. I’d say that over the past 2 years is when so many people stopped coming in you could just see the decrease in the business, and yet again it leads to people not wanting to spend too much money. Due to people not working as many hours as they used to, more bills and other unexpected debits is why most people are not spending so much money. It was not because of Isleta that put us under, it was a part of it but that’s not the major part, the economy is the major part. With the increase in business taxes and the increase in just bout every bill that it known that is what hurts a business when no business is being made. It’s sad to see the bowling ally close but with just such hard times being able to pay the employs and all the bills with no business it’s just not possible. She tried everything she could to bring people in but it just was not working. So personally I agree with the sign 100% and think that there is nothing wrong with was is up there is a free country and we have the right to say what we want, and that’s what she choose to say and there is nothing wrong with it.

Libs are so ignorant... Everyone needs to remember the Jr Senator Obama from Ill. voted for almost every bit of spending Bush did, while Obama was in that office... Obama has drove this nation into the dirt with his poor ability to stop Congress spend spend spend. None of this spending has been to fix problems Obama inherited. these are Problems Obama helped to create.

Sometimes we vote for a person we think would be good. Then after they get into office it turns out the person is in over thier head. I guess this guy just isn't cut out for the job. He is just in way over his head.

Maybe it was just an outdated, crappy bowling alley? And that the paying folks decided that they would rather spend their hard earned dollars elsewhere. Or is that theory just over the top?

Maybe if the big sexy bowling alley at Isleta hadn't opened then people would still be bowling at the crappy little bowling alley.
Blaming the President because your bowling alley sucks is immature and insane.Deal with it.

I've lived in the area all my life and never stepped foot in the Bosque Farms Bowling Alley because it looked like a dinky little hole in the wall. I guess I wasn't alone in that assumption. If blaming Obama makes you feel better then.. go ahead, because it surely couldn't have occurred to you that it was simply that no one wanted to bowl there.

It's not one man's fault. Even if Obama's policies had something to do with it, the economic down turn started with the Bush administration. How about the Governor of NM? The mayor of Bosque Farms? These people had nothing to do with it? Congress?

Economics don't magically change to fit our political views. Lots of businesses have fallen... remember Mervin's? How about CompUSA? They were huge chains and closed back in 2008 before Obama took over.

No one blamed Bush.

I would doubt that Obama economics have had a direct impact on this particular business. It may have had some non- tangible effect on setting the environment for it's eventual demise.

Having said that.

I would have to disagree with some that believe that Obama has no culpability in the current economic problems.

During the Bush presidency, both Democrats and Republicans dropped the ball on fiscal responsibility. The economy was driven by politics, greed, and a power struggle on ideology. Obama has been in office less than a year and he has surpassed the spending done during the two terms of Bush and every other President. His approach on stimulating the economy was a Democratic dream come true. They were able to take advantage of a crises to fund some of their supporters pet projects and yet appear to be trying to turn the economy around.

With their approach on the economy having been implemented, Obama and the Democrats now own the economy. If the healthcare package survives and passes they will own that too.

Both parties have been derelict in their duties, but John Q. Public will continue to vote these people into office. It's time to pin the tail on the donkey and remind the elephant why they are voted in. The goal of both parties has been re-election and money to do it with and not he welfare of the country and the U.S. taxpayer.

You're right about people being dumb.

The democrats (Frank & Dodd) BLOCKED Republican attempts to REGULATE Fannie & Freddie.

Nothing is Obama's fault. He's a holy man. A man of Allah. He may very well BE Allah. We should bow down to him. Allah be blessed.

Almost every comment here bends the truth, ignores reality or is just plain ignorant. Until we can rise above the partisan BS we will get nowhere. ALL the politicians had a hand in the various problems. This mess is far more complex than any one group can take full responsibility for. A perfect storm of lobbyist/special interest legislation from both parties got us here.

What the heck do Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have to do with a dinky, crappy, dirty, smelly, poorly-run bowling alley in Belen? And our President is a CHRISTIAN, U.S. CITIZEN. You'd know that if you weren't storing what little brains you have up your rear end.

Uhhhh lemme think.... a shiny new bowling alley inside a giant casino, nonstop entertainment, and a huge buffet didn't put this bowling-alley-in-a-tuff-shed out of business, but it was the President that did???? Makes perfect sense
