i was arrested back in 86 for harvesting ditch weed i spent 2 weeks in jail in neligh is the same man the sheriff that was sheriff then he was a pretty nice person infact they all seemed like good nice people that worked there

Yes, it was Kenny Drobny. He was a nice man. Helped me out many times while I was growing up. By the way, ditch weed only gives you a bad headache. It looks like the real thing, smell like the real thing, but definately will only give you a head ache.

Too Funny to read all of this - Kenny, Mr Turnis (sp), etc. were good folks - did their job and still gave the kids, etc. a good lesson break - I live in a county now that is so sad - and the cops are just in it for the $$$$$, except for 1 or 2 - At least you all Don't spend your time bashing each other and putting folks down - I am proud to be from there!!!
Don't always put our Police down - there are soooooo many BADDDDDD Cops out there - we have had it ok - some bad, some good, but for the most part good!!

The only was that I know Neligh is a bunch of people that were snotty nasty people. Neligh is a very hard to get alog in town and they are by far better than everyone else. LLNP you are so lucky to be a long lost soul

You sound fairly bitter so I won't pretend to know what your story is... but there are some pretty good folks in Neligh. There are some amazingly awesome folks in face... but, yes, just like anywhere there are also some at the other end of the spectrum.

i lived in neligh for several yrs i love neligh there is alot of nice people there it was not the goverment or people caused me to leave my x and i made a bad choice we let a child molester his son come live with us and he had molested 21 kids in the adventist church in washington , phill hart befriened him and let him attend the church knowing he was not allowed to go to the church now the offender has moved back to creat problems for he went to norfolk and arrested there and spent time then went to clearwater then back to neligh evey one be aware of the offender is dangerous he is a parnoid physhophrinc and social phyco path the princple in clearwater and the poilce dept read that multipile report , he was even threw out of the home with my x current women , because of her grandaughter and had to move to norfolk , neligh and the people are nice and i left some dear freinds behind i open apologize to the people there for ever allowing that child molester come to live in my home he destroyed a marrage and he will keep up with his crazyness so keep all the kids away from him

I was arrested in Elgin a few years back for disabling their new surveillance system lol.
only spent a week in there and then they gave me probation

Kenny passed away, I believe in '97. He was a wonderful person.
