thats crazy!!!! they should be locked down for the rest of their lives, now everyone has to fear for a loved one being assaulted again theres enough crazy citizens on the reservation for the locals to deal with and now they released two more thats just in humane and unjustified! maybe the court and the officers worked something out behind closed doors because the tribe cant afford to lose any more officers do to the lack of employment on their reservation!!

Yup, right on. That is very true. I had a friend who got raped and nothing was done. Nothing! Pretty soon those pervurts will do what they did again. That is just so messed up. If they were posing as an officer that should have been another assualt. Talk about justice.

All the money in the world and thousands of police officers cannot fight the credo of the Apache people: "We cannot prosecute boys/men who were lured by the girl." Check historical court records in San Carlos/Whiteriver for the past 50 years.

It is interesting that we let the reservation make thier own rules. They are part of the united states and I think, the laws should be set accordingly. Do away with the whole tribal benefits, reservations, free college educations, medical care etc. I think assimilation has been long overdue. Other races and cultures had to assimilate themselves into the society, why are native american the exception? Other cultures and races in the united states also have not had a "fair shake" on alot of things, but no longer get the perks we give to the native americans. At least tax everything on the reservation, since our state has no money, taxes on cigarrets and casinos are a great source of income.

Actually i was really angry about your comments but decided to just correct your spelling until i cooled off a little ... i'm ok now so let me tell you about the rez: tribal benefits?(yea, if you are related to a council member), free college ed?(a thousand per yr is all i got), medical care?(sub-standard,ever notice lots of ppl have no front teeth?..and the personnel look shady like maybe they lost their licences in another state? it's better to drive into Globe or Mesa for better care)...some "perks" huh? Add: highest teenage suicide rate, high crime & unemployment rates, high teacher-turnover rate...it's just all depressing.

I think people don't use thier medical care wisely, go to the dentist every 6 months, and due to unemployement are drinking and doing drugs. I had a friend when I lived in New Mexico, that when to UNM, and I know that 26 years ago,her tuition was paid in full, more than 1 thousand dollars, had great dental care, her son who was 10 at the time even had braces free of charge. She also lived in student family housing due to her child for free. including meal plans for both of them. I dont know if she was related to anyone, but she had money, free education and a truck allowance every 5 years. I had no reason to disbelieve what she told me. I think that assimilation would make a stronger Indian community , obviously you are telling me the reservation is not great. So what is all that casino revenue spent on? Sandia reservation in NM, each family gets a monthly intake of the revenue from the casino, I know this becaus my father is a barber and cuts many of the indian casino workers hair.It all boils down to doing whats right, although many scholarships, and grant money are not given to the struggling middle class, who pay the most taxes, but get the least benefit from thier taxes.

Why is it that on every thread you go to, your putting down people, places and things. Are you just a naturally hating biotch who can't form a sentence or spell to save her life? Must have voted for Obama, how are those handout working for you now? He is spending all of your tax dollars!
