Just another "lawful" gun nut taking what he wants. The NRA is proud of people like this!

So if we say, banned murder, than this wouldn't have happened? Oh wait, its already illegal to kill someone, but sure didn't stop him...gun or no gun...

Try thinking next time...idiot...

As a member of the NRA and a resident of Show Low, AZ, I would like to state that we all feel the pain and loss resulting from this needless gun violence. The criminal in this case should and will be prosecuted severly. Lawful gun owners, like myself, would never be "proud" of this horrific crime. The Second Amendment should not be infringed, but those who commit crimes with guns should be prosecuted severly.

The DePrins are my friends. They were apparently attacked while putting their purchases in the car. They were defenseless and vulnerable.

The coward that attacked them has committed suicide. This despicable coward has been known to be unstable.

Mr. DePrins is a veteran, and Mrs. DePrins was one of the kindest, soft spoken and gentle person I have ever met.

Please do not politicize this horrible incident, and allow us to grieve for Simmone and pray for Armand.

It is interesting that some people are foolish enough to actually believe that banning guns is the answer. Are there actually people out there that believe that a gun ban will be the end of guns? No, what a gun ban will get you is less protection. Imagine this senario, you are sitting in a diner and a maniac with a machte comes in and lops your arm off as you attempt to defend yourself but before the maniac lops off the heads of your family members I stand up with my weapon and provide the maniac with a double tap in the chest with fragmentation rounds from my 9mm. Do you seriously think that calling 911 would save you and your family or would you rather have me a licensed concealed carry weapon permit holder save your thankless hide? Stop being such babies and step up.

I agree with you Mark. I grew up in Show Low and around guns, the NRA and I believe that guns don't kill people its the people pulling the trigger that do. I am sorry for the loss that the families of the victims have. I was raised to use a gun as a tool, the suspect could have easily walked into Wal-mart and beat someone in the head with a hammer. What is going to be done about that? Are they going to ban hammers? Of course not. People are Blind and unfortunately they are going to believe what they want. Just like the breed of pitbull should be exterminated. Like I said they are Blind.

And banning drugs has kept them off the street too. Banning guns is only going to take away guns from those that want to defend themselves in their homes etc. Maybe if more people carried guns, this incident could have been avoided. Maybe the husband or wife could have turned a gun on him while he was assaulting the other. Or someone else could have pulled a gun while it was taking place and saved their lives.
You can not get rid of the guns. The criminals will always have them, just like drugs.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Sagittarius

A loved one gets hold of the wrong end of the stick today, causing endless hassle and fuss. They're likely to get upset in the process, so you have to calm them down, and that could lead to a squabble. You may also have to cope with discord when discussing family matters, with certain people getting bogged down in daft details that you think have nothing to do with the main issue.
